Dental Doctors of Lynchburg

Dental Doctors, I had an appointment on yesterday, (01/06/26) and I was very nervous about it. I had a dentist in Goode whom I love but, the ride was beginning to be a bit much. So I went on a hunt for one closer and within the City limits. I found Dental Doctors. I stopped by the day before my appointment so that the office could have a copy of my insurance. I got a bad feeling, the ladies at the front wasn't what I call friendly. No smiles, no greetings, no welcome. Just made my copies and that was it. So, when I went in for my official appointment, same thing. No conversation, no greeting, etc. I was thinking, "Did I make a mistake, or what?" BUT, when I met Jimmy, he put everything at ease, just by his smile, hand shake, and conversation. He explained everything he would be doing for my exam step by step with such a pleasant attitude. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. No worries! He has to be the kindest, gentle, caring, and compassionate Dental Assistant that i have ever met. He did nothing that he didn't explained to me what was happening ahead of time. Jimmy is awesome I felled in love with him immediately. Kudos to Jimmy ten times over! Let me add, that as I went up to the Frontdesk to check-out. the atmosphere had all changed some, and a little more friendly. I am pleased to say, YES, it was a good exam,...I do not remember my Doctors name, but I will get it. She was just as kind. The both of them get two thumbs up from me. See you all at my next exam.

Jimmy provided me the most excellent cleaning I’ve ever had. He explained each step of the way and was very thorough. If you experience anxiety about going to the dentist, be sure to get scheduled with Jimmy as he made it such a smooth experience!

In and out efficiently while still receiving genuine care. The hygienist explained step by step what he was doing and why. Did not feel dismissed while asking questions and sharing personal experience. Expressed concern for a bothersome spot. The head dentist looked at it right then and reassured me that they can fix it as soon as possible. No hesitation. Went in today to establish care and have my teeth cleaned. Go back tomorrow morning to have my tooth fixed. Great energy and positivity among all staff.

Well I must say in my prior experience the practice had been some what professional. However, I must say this time around the staff was very professional and caring. Thank you Jimmy and Dr V for caring, that office needs more hygienist and Dr’s like you that care and explain the procedure every step of the way for the care you provide.

I just moved to Lynchburg and had to find a Dentist. I selected DDofL as they quickly got me in and they Accepted Medicare, most do not. Typically, dental practices REFUSE TO accept insurance because they want YOU to pay what THEY $harge! Now the best part, the hygienist, JIMMY, with 23 years of experience was the most thorough, kind, knowledgeable and professional individual I have ever met in a dental office! Make the right choice and consider Dental Doctors of Lynchburg and make sure to ask for Jimmy!

Went in for a routine cleaning after some years away from the dentist. Jimmy took care of my x-rays, cleaning and cancer screening and was an absolute blast, Dr. Val did the follow up examination and was very informative and thorough. The both of them made the experience comfortable and pleasant, and I hope to return for more routine work!

Jimmy and Dr. Val were AMAZING. Jimmy offered me one of my best cleanings - ever. I switched to this office and for my first visit, he walked me through everything he did, was very gentle, extremely effective and efficient. I would recommend to anyone 🙌
