I’ve now been to this dental office multiple times, including completing my permanent crowns, and my opinion has only improved. I’ve worked directly with Dr. Rena Vakay, and she continues to be excellent — skilled, attentive, and very focused on patient comfort and quality results. The permanent crowns fit well, feel natural, and were handled with real care and attention to detail. What truly sets this office apart is how patient-focused the entire team is. Tonia at the front desk consistently goes above and beyond with scheduling and coordination, making everything easy and low-stress. During my most recent visit, I was dealing with significant post-surgery pain in my left arm. Rose noticed immediately and took extra time to get pillows and proper support so my arm could be positioned comfortably during the dental work. That level of awareness and care was absolutely above and beyond, and it made a real difference. On the clinical side, Christina, Rose, and Nahzi are careful, precise, and genuinely kind — they pay attention to details that matter to patients. Overall, this is a professional, compassionate, and extremely patient-oriented dental team. I’m very glad I found this office and would highly recommend Dr. Vakay and her staff.

Initially came here for a second opinion of some major work my existing Dentist wanted done on my son. Thank God I got a second and third opinion! Dr. Vakay and Dr. Abel are straight shooters. No mincing or beating around the bush. Saved my son a lot of unneeded dental work and future problems. The dental hygenists are top notch as well. What started out as another opinion became an excellent change in providers. Very satisfied!!

I am terrified of dentist appts. and typically avoid them. However, I found myself with a dental issue that had to be fixed. I am so grateful to have found Centreville Dental Wellness Center! From the initial phone call to the reception area and with the dental team…they couldn’t have been any more calming and efficient! I had a racing heart-they had calming words. I had tears-they had empathy. I was a mess but the entire team truly catered to my comfort and made sure I was doing ok throughout the procedure. I will definitely return in the future to fix things that I’ve put off out of fear. Amazing dental care!

I was so impressed with the staff here. I am going to purchase veneers from them and they totally made me feel comfortable and explained the process in detail. I’m very excited to be working with this office!

Front desk service (especially Tonya) is excellent. Dr Able is wonderful and Erica is a great hygienist. Always thorough with no pressure to have procedures done that aren't necessary.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Abel for close to ten years now and have come to the Centreville Dental Wellness center all this time. He treats my wife, my children, and my elderly parents as well and both he and his staff have been amazing this entire time. As a government employee, I have multiple insurance programs and with elderly parents who are on a fixed income, we are not the easiest patients to collect from but yet the staff here goes through the extra steps to ensure both insurance programs are charged before billing me. Not all doctors go through this trouble but they do here. I was quite surprised to read the previous review because in ten years, the staff and doctor have only treated me like family. It’s really hard to take that review seriously as incompetence and rudeness are not at all what comes to mind when I think of Dr Abel, his office manager, or the wonderful assistants at the front desk. Dr Abel is by far my favorite dentist I’ve ever had. His demeanor is extraordinary as he is able to relate to my young children, my wife who is learning English, and my elderly parents leaving them at ease and in competent hands. I have long nerves in my mouth but Dr Abel’s technique in administering Novacaine is outstanding as I never feel the pain!! My wife has the same issue but again, she never has a problem with him. I also like that I don’t feel that the hygienists or Dr Abel try to upsale me with an extra service or expense. Truly Dr Abel and the front desk are outstanding. No issues ever with billing problems or rude employees. I highly recommend Dr Abel and the Centreville Dental Wellness Center for your family…ten years coming here and I hope I never have to switch dentists. With all my deployments overseas and postings overseas, I always make sure to schedule my dental work here with Dr Abel!!

Dr. Vakay & her staff members are so knowledgeable and honest to answer questions of my concerns.I am also impressed by both Jessica and Tanya who go above and beyond on assisting with my prescription request. I highly recommend this dental practice. The facility is cozy and clean as well.
