Kitty Hawk Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics

Today I had my wisdom teeth removed at Kitty Hawk Smiles, my team working on me was Ms. Vanity, Ms. Charity, and Dr. Alkinson. Being a type 1 diabetic and having not so great experiences at my previous office, this practice has 100% earned my trust. They were thorough and explained everything from start to finish, as well as prioritized my comfort and calmed my nerves! If anyone is looking for a new Dentist & Orthodontist office, please let this be it!

We had a mixed experience at Kitty Hawk Smiles Dentistry. Unfortunately, my visit started off poorly due to the front office manager, Nikki. She came across as very rude and unwelcoming. She frequently talked over me and cut me off before I could finish my questions or receive clear answers. That kind of interaction is frustrating and not what you expect from someone running the front office of a dental practice. There was also a communication issue during the appointment. The hygienist was not informed that he was receiving orthodontic treatment, so the cleaning was started without removing the braces first, which should have been addressed beforehand. That said, the back office staff was great. The hygienist was very informative and took time to educate me on proper care and how often certain treatments should be done. The doctor and orthodontic staff were also excellent—professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Overall, the clinical care itself was solid, but the front office experience and communication need improvement, as they set the tone for the entire visit.

This office absolutely amazing, from the time I walked in to the time I left everyone was amazing. Dr, DeRosa took great care of me and listened to my needs while making a long turn plan for the work I need. The assistant Veronica was kind and checked on my multiple times to make sure I was doing well. Everything was fabulous and Nicki was kind and listening to my needs financially and dentally. If you are looking for a team that will take care of you, look no further! The rest of team is also so nice and accommodating as well!

My husband and I are new patients. Everyone in the office was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The exam by Dr. Leslie and the cleaning by Savannah were both very thorough.

The team with Dr. Atkinson which consisted of Celeste, Vanity, Eriq, Charity and Cindy were exceptionally great and very welcoming. My daughter had her 4 wisdom teeth removed and I must say, they had her feeling very comfortable, confident and reassured. My appointment is tomorrow and I look forward to the same hospitality shown to my daughter. The clinic was clean and the receptionist was on point and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely recommend to all.

All the staff at Kitty Hawk Smiles were so kind and easy to talk to! Zayra made getting X-rays not so horrible and Dr.DeRosa was very personable ! Jennifer did a great job cleaning my teeth and made me feel very comfortable!
