Dr. David B. Konikoff, DDS

From checking-in, seeing the dentist, chatting with the manager, to checking-out everyone in the office is friendly and knowledgeable. If you have to have your face go numb and your teeth drilled, there’s certainly not a friendlier place in town to have it done. I’ve seen several Konikoff doctors and they are all knowledgeable and not overly aggressive in their treatment, which lets me feel good that they care first and foremost about my teeth, but think about my wallet as well. Thank you Lynnhaven for having such a great staff!

Oh My. I can not say enough good things about my New Patient experience. First off staff stayed late because of me and the Straight professional treatment from the door was amazing. Clean and family friendly atmosphere. Staff sweet to the core and Dr. K I absolutely adore. He is a blessing in disguise. I want to thank the entire Konifoff family for helping me today. My new dental family. Here's to 2020 and improving self.

This office was entirely unfair with a problem with my son. He went in for a cleaning and a bad tooth ache. He diagnosed with a tooth that needed to be pulled by an oral surgeon and told he needed extensive scaling, so they did not clean his teeth. We paid the bill, which was high for a consultation with x-rays. They referred another Konikoff Surgeon. He did not have insurance. The Specialist office told him they would need to get x-rays before they could pull his tooth. He tried to get the x-rays that he already paid for from the other office, and they said no, they would not provide them. The Specialist said they needed their own x-rays, which he had to pay for. We went to another dental office out in town, and was told to pick up his x-rays from the Konikoff Office, and he would not have to pay to have x-rays done. My son called the Konikoff Office several times, and was told they could not give him the x-rays he paid for! He complained and asked to speak to someone in management. He was told someone would call him back, which never happened. He called 3 times and was told the same thing. This was an emergency situation with someone who did not have insurance, and this office never called him back! This was all poor customer service. Another dentist office gladly helped him a much cheaper price.

This review is not directed to Dr. David Konikoff, but to the practice that bought him out. I went to see him yesterday to have a bridge glued back in and I mistakenly went to the wrong office. I expected that he would take care of my problem with no charge as he put the bridge in. I did not even take my pocketbook with me for that reason. He was not there so I had to see another dentist. She wanted to take an XRay of my bridge. After she did, I was approached by office staff and was told I had to PAY RIGHT NOW $147.00. After lengthy encounters with the office manager and the finance manager, I was told they would not re-glue the bridge unless I made the payment then. I explained I would call them with my credit card number when I got home, but that did not suffice. I have been a patient of Dr. Konikoff for over 40 years since he first opened his practice, and should have been trusted, or at least offered credit of some sort. I wish Dr. Konikoff would remove his practice from this horribly run creation of non-human money changers.

I have been going to Dr. Konikoff since he was 2 weeks out of dental school . He had a little house aragona. Then moved to chimney hill and now look at him. I love him. He will always ask does it hurt. Does anyone ever hurt you. When i was younger i had hair down to my waist and he would hang on to it. If you want a good dentist this team will do it. Love you dr. Konikoff.

Because of me having a seizure in your office and either grabbing something or smacking someone’s hand I have been banned from the office. These behaviors happen when I have a seizure since I have epilepsy. I would like to discuss this & find an understanding.

They where fast to get me into the dentist and identify the promblem. They where helpful explaining to me how to prevent the promblem again.
