I had a great experience here, from regular examination to major treatment like a crown. The receptionists are super welcome and address all your concerns regarding the treatment plans, billings, and dealing with insurances. Dr.Liang and Dr.Han are also knowledgable, thinking from patients' perspective to give the best treatment plan without over-treatment. I am just super glad to visit btyDental and meet those nice people here. Highly recommended if you are looking for a dentist in Bellevue!

The current dentists are young but skilled, and genuinely attentive, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. I also like the technology improvements they’ve implemented. The whole place has a calm, pleasant vibe that makes visits surprisingly easy. My only tiny suggestion would be to brighten up the dark moose-turd-green 1990s walls—but even with that nostalgic unpleasant décor, the care seems top-notch.

They scheduled my son's appointment for 5 1/2 months instead of 6 so insurance denied coverage. I called to discuss this issue with them. They said they would talk to manager and call me back. Never got a call back and then they just sent me a bill requesting payment for the overdue outstanding balance. If they can't do the small things correctly, I won't be trusting them with anything else.

btyDENTAL Bellevue is a super nice dental office in downtown. The staff and doctors are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Special shoutout to Dr. Yaowei who discovered my grinding problem and got the filling done beautifully.

I ended up paying $400 out of pocket and $400 to my insurance—$800 total—for them to remove my permanent retainers and give me plastic ones, when I had originally planned to do Invisalign. That’s absurdly high for plastic retainers, and I strongly suspect I was charged for their mistake and the replacement set. Long Version Since the acquisition, the practice has felt disorganized and poorly managed. Routine cleanings are fine, and basic fillings are probably okay, but anything more complex is a headache. I barely get any meaningful time with the dentist, and it seems like it’s a different provider every visit. I went in wanting Invisalign. We did a scan, and I was told to come back in two weeks to pick up my first set of trays. I was also told I had to pay upfront—either in full or 50% now and 50% at pickup. I paid half and returned two weeks later. When I got there, I was told I was actually booked for a filling, not to pick up my trays, and that I needed my permanent retainers removed before they could scan my teeth—despite already having scanned them at my previous appointment. This led to two additional appointments just to handle fillings, remove my retainers, and re-scan. When I finally came in to pick up my "Invisalign trays," I was told I had actually received plastic retainers to wear at night instead of my permanent ones. My first set didn’t fit properly, so I had to come back twice for replacements—and I was told I would only be charged for one set. I ultimately decided not to go forward with Invisalign. Months later, I realized I had never received a reimbursement for the nearly $2,000 I had paid upfront, and had to call back six months later to resolve it. Dr. Yaowei is extremely kind, highly skilled, and very professional! The anesthetic was administered before I even felt anything. After Dr. Yaowei repaired my tooth, I felt much more at ease and decided to become one of their members. From now on, for anything related to my dental health, I’ll be coming here.

I love that my dentist is the one to clean my teeth. I only have a 4 star because the office is older. But my dentist, Dr. Han, is great!
