I ordered a passion fruit juice with milk and it was spectacular. I didn’t love the beans because in my country they prepare them differently, but my partner—who is Colombian—recommended them. According to him, the food has an authentically Colombian flavor. He also says this location is better than other branches of the same franchise that he has visited. I really liked my dish, and something I appreciate about the menu is that it includes photos, which makes choosing easier. The service was excellent; even though there was an issue with our order and we had to wait a bit longer than expected, everything flowed perfectly. Highly recommended!

My wife was craving Colombian empanadas for breakfast, so we decided to try Las Delicias de la Abuela for the first time—and honestly, we were not disappointed at all. The empanadas were delicious and full of flavor. They also have a beautiful café area where you can enjoy a variety of Colombian desserts. The space is cozy, welcoming, and the staff is extremely friendly. This time we did takeout, but next time we’ll definitely dine in. Highly recommended!

Camilo was my server and had an amazing personality. I have had bad experiences with customer services but he was great. Food was delicious and I LOVED how detailed was when it came with decoration. I love the music and big screen where we would watch the music videos. My first time here and will be coming more and recommending this place for sure!!

I’ve been to the original location, but this one is definitely more aesthetic! We arrived around 12 hoping for breakfast, but didn’t know they stop serving it at 11am it would’ve been helpful if they change it on Google. Luckily, Diego our server was amazing and went above and beyond to offer options that felt like breakfast I had arepa con queso, steak, and eggs, and it hit the spot! Service overall was great. The restaurant is attached to a coffee shop, which I was excited to try, but the caramel macchiato took nearly 40 minutes and was unfortunately bitter. Diego kindly took it off the bill due to the wait, which I appreciated. Bonus: they host Latin nights/live music on weekends! worth checking out!

Sugartown Sweets Adventures!

This was our first visit and our first Colombian restaurant. Wow! We ate every delicious bite on our plates. Neither one of us have ever cared for plantains until we tried them here. It was a delightful way to end our meal. We shall return! 😋

I absolutely loved El Café by La Abuela! The coffee is amazing—smooth, rich, and full of flavor. The place itself is truly beautiful, with a calm, chill vibe and relaxing music that makes you want to stay for hours. The service was warm and friendly, and everything on the menu was delicious. You can really feel the love in every detail. Can’t wait to go back!😊😋
