Gulfport Academy

We absolutely love this daycare! The staff truly goes above and beyond for the kids every single day. The management is supportive, organized, and clearly cares about both the children and families. My kids are always excited to go and come home happy, which says everything. The curriculum is well-rounded and engaging, and I can see how much my children are learning and growing. I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for them!

We are so grateful for this daycare and the care they provide to our nieces. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the children. The environment is clean, welcoming, and structured in a way that helps the kids feel safe and comfortable. Our nieces are always happy to go and come home excited to share what they’ve learned. It gives our whole family peace of mind knowing they’re in such great hands. Highly recommend!

Gulfport Academy has been so welcoming to me and my family from the very start. The owners and directors are truly invested in what they do and the safety and care of the children. They greet us every morning with smiles. Our child is happy and learning so much daily. The facility is clean and has cameras everywhere! I wouldn’t choose any where else to bring my child. We also love the extra activities that they do!

This is such a great establishment. My children have been attending this daycare since they were born, and I have never had any issues. The staff is very friendly and supportive. I am so thankful to have such a great daycare for my girls! Keep up the great work guys!

Upon picking my daughter up from her current preschool, I was made aware of a disturbing situation that occurred while my child was in attendance here. My child’s current preschool miraculously hired a staff member who worked for Gulfport Academy previously. During the training process, they introduced my daughter to this new staff member and briefly explained strategies they used to deescalate my daughter’s meltdowns. The new staff member confirmed that she knew my daughter from the old facility she worked for (Gulfport Academy) , and that herself as well as other staff members were told by the directors to isolate/close her in the bathroom until she calmed down. I was very upset and saddened by this news I received. The owners denied the claims but had "no camera footage" to prove otherwise. I would like my daughter’s experience to not only be an alert to other parents , but also a prevention of this situation possibly happening to someone else’s child/children.

After coming from a different daycare, I can say this place is a night and day difference to our former experience. This school is amazing! My 1.5 year old is learning things I never imagined, he's talking way more, eating foods he's never had (and they take food allergies very seriously and make accommodations), and he's almost completely off of a pacifier..all in 5 weeks of being enrolled at Gulfport Academy. He never cries going in, and that's such a relief. Switching to this school was the best decision we could have made. The staff is so nice and friendly, always greeted with a smile! We absolutely love it so far.

My daughter has started with this daycare in April 2024 at just 3 months old. She is in their infant room. I feel confident dropping her off. Every morning we are greeted with smiles by ALL staff! My now 6 month old is always smiling and so happy to see every one of them! I’ve noticed the other children at drop off and pick up seem so very happy! I haven’t seen a single child cry at drop offs here. Huge plus for moms who have children with separation anxiety! It’s so hard trusting someone else to care for an infant but they have really knocked my socks off lately! The teachers send me pictures of her smiling and happy, she comes home with adorable artwork, and I feel like she is safe and adored there. I also love that they have cameras EVERYWHERE! The staff is friendly and everyone seems to love working with children here! I drive out of my way by 10 minutes just to bring my baby here because it is worth it to me to have her happy and in a daycare that has been well established and has passed ALL inspections since 2019. Update: As of this year, 2026, this daycare still continues to be PHENOMENAL! Ms. Stephanie runs the show and they accommodate my daughter’s daily allergy with modified menu substitutions. They really do care about their babies and children there and the families as well. They have taken such great care of us even in hard times! 💗 My almost 2 year old squeals with excitement getting in the car to go to daycare each morning!
