Cantonese School of Greater Washington

We are so glad to be part of the CSGW community. Our 6 yr old daughter is enrolled. There is also a class available for the parents, which my husband and I are taking. It was interesting on the first day to hear all the new parents introduce themselves and tell their story and their connection with being Cantonese. It is nice to see such a wide range in the families, which I think provides for a non intimidating learning environment. Highly recommend!

Love the school. We take the adult class while our child is in the kids class. Amazing community and a great way for the family to learn cantonese and our culture.

A really awesome Chinese school that offers Cantonese and Mandarin classes. I finally found a school where my kids aren’t intimidated by the curriculum, and teachers in the other Chinese schools. What I like most is that my kids are able to learn basic conversational Chinese themselves since I’m unable to help them. That’s probably a testament to the Chinese teachers, and curriculum. They make the classes fun for the kids, and they haven't complained! Worth noting that if you're interested in trying, you can contact them for a free trial class.
