Rio Rancho Public Schools

Front Office staff is horrible especially Vicki.They make simple requests complicated. I needed to pick up my daughter for an appointment and called ahead to have her waiting in the office until I arrived. They said it's against thier policy. While I was waiting for my daughter, I watched a student sign themselves out without a parent in the office.

If there was a lower rating I would give it. Kids who don't know how to read are getting sent home with honor role 4.0 awards. I question the school and district and am dismissed of my concerns. Our children are being set up for failure. At this point it's not about the kids wellbeing. It's about federal funding and $$$$$$. There are also a major concern with Ms Shepman which nobody seems to want to address. Why?

I couldn't ask for a better school district to raise my son in. He has loved every second in preK, elementary and now middle school. The teachers are awesome and the special education department is stellar. We love RRPS!

If I could I would rate it at a zero at this point. I moved to Rio Rancho two years ago because it was supposedly better than APS and at this point APS is doing such a better job. I cannot even get anyone to answer their phones at the district office it's unprofessional and scary because if a student had a real issue because,YES the school staff if failing, a parent can do nothing about it.

Some teachers are quite gifted in this district, but they no longer do temperature checks and the principal dodges calls.

Bullying by staff and students, and parents banned from speaking about issues with the principals or board staff

They want you to prove everything like police and School security video so grainy it's no help, so parents in no win situation against HR a
