This school is not adult-learner friendly. Communication is inconsistent, with some instructors responding promptly and others ignoring emails completely. Schedules are unreliable. Instructors often change not just class times but entire class days with little to no notice, and the student portal does not reflect the actual schedule. You often find out about conflicts only a few days before classes start, but because of the semester system you cannot just drop a class that doesn’t work. There is little accountability in grading. Students do not receive feedback on midterms or finals, which means you cannot verify your answers or challenge potentially incorrect exam questions. To make matters worse, the school requires instructor surveys before a class even ends, leaving students to give feedback while still under the authority of that instructor. For the cost of tuition—two to three times higher than many other private universities—students should at least expect professionalism, clear schedules, proper exam feedback, and consistent communication. Instead, professors often act more like bosses than mentors, sometimes speaking down to students who raise legitimate concerns. Basic campus operations are also poorly handled. Evening classes are supposed to run from 6–10 pm, but security locks the building early every time. If you step out for a break, you risk being locked out of your own class. Overall, the school treats students as if they just left high school rather than as adults paying a premium for higher education.
Keiser University has been extremely helpful and supportive since the very beginning of my academic journey. From the first day I reached out with questions, the staff was responsive, encouraging, and genuinely cared about my success. The enrollment process was smooth, and I felt well-guided through each step, which gave me the confidence to move forward with my education. Now, three classes in, I can honestly say that the experience has exceeded my expectations. The instructors are knowledgeable and patient, and they take the time to make sure we truly understand the material. The learning environment is hands-on and personalized, which is exactly what I needed. I recently completed my nursing program interview and was officially accepted – a huge milestone I couldn’t have reached without the foundation and support I’ve received from Keiser. I’m excited and proud to move forward in the nursing program, and I’m grateful to be a student at a university that truly invests in its students’ futures.
Becoming a student at Keiser University since day one has been the best decision i have made. The faculty stays on top of their students and always looks for your best interest. My student Advisor Anessa Jones has been a great help to me, she has a great personality, and attentive. She is one of my favorites and really made me excited and happy to start here. I enjoy being a student so far at Keiser University and thankful for this opportunity.
They were all very nice in the beginning, but that’s because they want your money. Super pushy, and once they find out you’re considering not continuing they’re very short and honestly quite rude and condescending. Might not consider this school any longer even if I do continue now. I guess it’s all about making money.
I’m so happy with my experience so far!! The teachers are dedicated, thorough, and organized. Mrs. Anessa Jones is the best entrance counselor! She made sure my transition into keiser was seamless! She is detailed and honest about the process and all it entails. I truly appreciate her!
So I was to a have a on campus visit but decided to call and get information before I do in. When I pose question to the initial agent no answers were given. I was quickly transferred to admissions. No question was answered but I was told I MUST come in person to get course and financial information. That is sketchy. Why is this a secret and the individual was rude. Obviously they are overpriced. Just as there is transparency in health care, we need it for these private schools.
If I can give this private school a 0 I would. I am all for giving grace and I have given Keiser multiple opportunities. The radiology program is horrible! You basically are paying the school thousands of hundred thousands of dollars to basically be given material to teach yourself and hope for the best. Certain instructors DO NOT TEACH, they DO NOT want to see you succeed. As soon as you step into the program they discourage you by saying things such as "most of you won't make it" and "Lets see how many of you last" and there's much more. Keiser wonders why they have a low success rate in this program and they'll make false excuses as to why but the truth is they have bad instructors and they just want your money. When multiple students complain about teachers not teaching NOTHING is done! The deans of the school do NOTHING! The head of the program also looks out for the instructors best interest not the students and when telling the deans about these complaints his response "I have heard nothing about this" that means the head of radiology department is not relying the several complaints over. This school is a SCAM. Speak to the students because if ALL the students are saying the same thing and other instructors also make comments on the instructors who are just giving material and NOT teaching, then tell me what that should tell you! Please I encourage you to look into other schools Keiser does not deserve your money and time because they do not value you as the student or your time. They do the bare minimum if even that which is sad and disheartening. The school claims they have no input into what the instructors final grades are so even when the instructor is wrong they DO NOT care they give them full control and as a school that is displeasing and WRONG to say the least! Even if the deans agree with you that it was wrong they cannot change it, I don't know if that's a contract flaw from when they hire these instructors but either way it is unacceptable. Start rearranging things around or this school will go bankrupt for the horrible systems they have in place for students. Everyone that goes here will have the same things to say, people are not going to Keiser because they like it but merely it is convenient and that's why they are failing as a school because this is not a school that is loved but tolerated!
