My son has been training in Taekwondo with Master Na’s team for the past few years. After completing his first year, he initially decided to take a year off, but he soon returned to training. Now, he’s on track to becoming a black belt candidate and aspires to be a junior instructor in the future. This journey has been meaningful for us, especially since my older son also trains at the school. The environment is filled with amazing people, and I truly believe every coach brings out the best in their students! The instructors not only teach Taekwondo techniques but also emphasize confidence, kindness, and support for one another, highlighting the importance of love and respect for family. Lucas is thriving, and being part of the TMA family has played a significant role in his growth!
Over the past four years, my daughter has been training and practicing Taekwondo at Master Na’s Traditional Martial Arts. What began as a simple interest in learning self-defense has grown into an important and positive part of her life. Through consistent practice, discipline, and hard work, she has become stronger — both physically and mentally. In Master Na’s class, she learned the true spirit of Taekwondo: respect, confidence, and perseverance. From her first white belt to her current level, every test, class, and competition has taught her valuable lessons in patience and determination. The "Ten Rules of Mental Education" and "The Student Creed" inspire every student to develop strong values, self-discipline, and meaningful life principles Taekwondo has not only improved her fitness and focus but also built her character. I am proud to see her confidence, discipline, and leadership continue to grow with every achievement. Great Thanks to Master Na and all TMA instructors for their constant guidance, encouragement, and effort in helping her and every student to grow through Taekwondo.
A Life-Changing Journey with Master Na’s TMA My 9-year-old son, Viktor, has been training at Master Na’s Traditional Martial Arts since he was 4 years old, and the transformation we’ve seen has been amazing. He started out shy and unsure of himself, but through the support, discipline, and encouragement from Master Na and his incredible team, he has grown into a confident, focused, and determined young boy. He’s now a black belt candidate — something he has worked so hard for and is incredibly proud of! The instructors do an outstanding job teaching not only Taekwondo techniques but also important life values like respect, perseverance, and humility. They truly care about every student’s growth, both on and off the mat. TMA has become such a positive part of Viktor’s life and our family’s routine. We are so grateful for the dedication and passion the instructors show every single day. I couldn’t recommend Master Na’s TMA more highly — it’s an amazing community that brings out the best in every student.
Watching my daughter grow through eight years of Taekwondo has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. When she first started, she was shy, hesitant, and unsure of herself. Today, she stands tall, not just in physical form, but in confidence, discipline, and character. The transformation has been nothing short of amazing. Over the years, she has faced many challenges. There were moments of frustration, self-doubt, and even tears. But instead of giving up, she pushed through. Whether it was struggling with a difficult form, preparing for belt tests, or learning to lead younger students, she met each challenge with persistence. Her resilience has grown immensely, and I’ve seen her apply that same determination in other parts of her life, school, friendships, and personal goals. This TMA journey has had a profound impact on our family. It’s become a part of our lives Taekwondo has taught us all the value of patience, respect, and commitment. We've celebrated her milestones together, from white belt to now preparing for black belt, and each step has brought us closer. It has also given her a sense of community and belonging, which has been so important. Most of all, TMA’s outstanding leadership has shaped her into a strong, respectful, and goal-oriented young person. I see the pride in her eyes when she sets a goal and achieves it, the confidence when she leads a class or speaks up, and the kindness when she helps others along the way. I’m incredibly proud of the person she’s become and I know this Black Belt is not the end, but a milestone in a lifelong journey of growth.
Proud member of Master Na's Traditional Martial Arts school !!! More than four years ago we moved to the USA. And within a few months we started looking for the best martial arts school to continue our Taekwondo classes. And it is not surprising that we found the best instructors and teachers at Master Na's Traditional Martial Arts school. Our daughter Sofia is very strong inside and out, she has the soul of an angel and patience that adults sometimes do not have. Master Na helped not only maintain these qualities during classes, but also develop an understanding of the importance of discipline, attention to detail, responsibility and love for whatever she does, and most importantly love and respect for her parents. Master Na and the wonderful instructors at his school never tire of putting faith and self-confidence in the soul of every student, young or old, regardless of age, gender, or social status. These are not just nice words about the school we attend, they are about the results we get, they are about Taekwondo as a part of our lives, they are about all the joyful moments, strict rules and awards. Our youngest son has just started his journey in Taekwondo, but he has a sister as a great example of how easy it is to achieve any goal when you have a good mentor. Master Na’s Traditional Martial Arts is actually a philosophy of martial arts, it is about confidence, it is about self-improvement, respect and self-discipline, it is the ability to accept defeats and support the victories of others, it is about kindness and love for the people around you. Master Na’s Traditional Martial Arts is also about the ability to relax and have fun, it is about the wonderful organization of any holiday. You can take part in annual competitions to show your knowledge and achievements. This is an opportunity to participate in the annual parade through the city, representing your favorite Taekwondo school, you will have a great opportunity to climb a mountain, even start hiking. Throughout the year you have opportunities to sign up for an ice cream party, come to a movie night, take part in a Nerf Game, Buddy Bash, celebrate your birthday, even come to classes in your favorite hero costume. Master Na’s Traditional Martial Arts is truly the best Taekwondo school you can find!
A Transformative Journey My son first stepped onto the mat at Master Na’s Traditional Martial Arts in August of 2021, as a highly energetic, 6-year-old boy. As a parent, I’d struggled to find productive outlets for my son to move his body in a way that fully met his movement needs. What we discovered at Master Na’s was not only an amazing release valve for his boundless energy, through a practice that allowed him to move his body in ways that provided him with the vestibular input and proprioceptive feedback his body required, but also a practice based on meditative movement and core values that over time lent a positive new rhythm to my son’s life. Under the patient and dedicated teaching of Master Na and his incredible instructors, I quickly saw improvements in my son’s balance, spatial awareness, and overall level of calm. As he progressed through Little Tiger and into the youth All Belt program, I saw a higher level of concentration and focus develop in him, both inside and outside of the dojang. As he learned to exercised discipline and perseverance in the repetition of practicing each form, and humility through acceptance of constructive criticism, he became more regulated and resilient in his daily life. Chaos turned into calm. The accomplishment my son felt as he earned tapes and stars, and moved through the belts, gave him confidence and an immense sense of pride. Four years later, my son is now a black belt candidate, dedicated to attaining 1st Dan and continuing to elevate his practice. Master Na and his team of committed instructors helped my son find his rhythm of calm in life, and have imparted and reinforced invaluable life skills along the way. And they foster an incredible community in which the students and instructors encourage and support one another, with kindness and respect. I couldn’t recommend Master Na’s TMA more highly!
My daughter’s journey with Master Na began over four years ago, when she walked into her first Taekwondo class. I decided to sign her up because I thought it would be good for her. She was shy and not entirely convinced she belonged in a martial arts studio. Fast forward to today, and she is now eligible for black belt testing- standing taller not just physically, but in every aspect of who she is. The transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. What started as a fun after-school activity has grown into one of the most important influences in her life. She started the journey with her brother who received his black belt a year ago, and has loved every minute. The instructors at TMA are more than just teachers, they are mentors, role models, and motivators. They instill discipline, respect, and a no quit attitude in every student. There were moments when my daughter struggled—with techniques, with confidence, even with the pressure of testing, but the supportive community here never let her give up. They pushed her to dig deep, set goals, and take pride in every achievement, no matter how small. Earning her black belt is not just about kicks and forms, it is a culmination of years of dedication, resilience, and personal growth. I’ve watched her become more focused in school, more confident in social settings, and more responsible at home. She now carries herself with a quiet strength and inner discipline that I directly attribute to her Taekwondo training. If you’re looking for a place that will not only teach your child martial arts but will also help shape them into a better version of themselves, look no further than Master Na’s. We are forever grateful for the impact this studio has had on our daughter’s life.
