Mireu Martial Arts USA

My son and I started a little over a year now, and it’s been a great journey so far. It’s really a nice concept of being able to learn Martial Arts with your children. GrandMaster Mathew’s is a great instructor and we are blessed to be apart of the Mireu Martial Arts community.

Grand Master Mathews is a great teacher and I know you will be the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be so come to Mireu Martial arts in Coralville.

Wonderful martial arts school! Grandmaster Lonnie Matthews is a true gem - great teacher and a wonderful human being. Has taught my kids to be successful at taekwondo and respectful and kind to others. Highly recommend!

Excellent dojang! Grandmaster Matthews is a wealth of knowledge and an excellent teacher for both our kiddos who have advanced to yellow belt so far. Classes can seem a little big, but they’re excellent about breaking out into groups so each student gets some focused time either from Grandmaster Matthews or one of her capable Black Belts.

Grandmaster Matthews has created a wonderful positive, inclusive community. Mireu Martial Art's Taekwondo and Kumdo training has made an amazing difference for my teenage son. His confidence has increased and he's chosen to participate in competitive Taekwondo and Kumdo events. I couldn't recommend Mireu Martial Arts more.

Grandmaster Matthews and all the teachers are wonderful with working with all ages. Great energy and active all the time. The best place to go for Martial Arts. Absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you for working hard on character development, social skills, and physical fitness.

Incredible place to enjoy the sport and martial art of Taekwondo, from zero for children or adults to the highest levels of improvement, with the option to also practice other martial arts such as Kumdo. Really cozy but without neglecting the physical and technical demand, very complete facilities. Very friendly and familiar atmosphere, highly qualified and experienced professionals.
