🛑 School Review: Inconsistent Policies and Lack of Student Opportunity 🛑 Overall Rating: The school environment is defined by frustrating administrative inconsistencies and a pattern of excluding non-favored students from valuable opportunities. 📉 Institutional Issues and Administrative Failures * Exclusion from Clubs and Programs: Certain "clubs" and student programs are essentially run as exclusive shop projects, making it extremely difficult for students from other trades to join and contribute their skills. Student ideas and efforts, even after significant time investment (e.g., creating edited videos), are often rejected, ignored, or simply co-opted by the running shop. This prevents talented, motivated students from participating and leads to wasted effort. * Arbitrary Restriction of Student Involvement: Administration or staff will arbitrarily remove or block experienced students from previously approved mentor or leadership roles without clear, objective, or consistent justification. This includes students who are blocked from assisting with exploratory programs or shop activities, while other, less experienced students are granted those same opportunities. * Poor Communication and Inconsistent Scheduling: * Requests for long-standing student roles, like reading morning announcements, are handled with poor follow-up, leaving students on a seemingly endless waiting list with shifting priorities [cite: 108-110]. * [cite_start]Scheduled meetings with staff/administration are frequently rescheduled or postponed without resolution. * Disregard for Student Time and Environment: Common-use spaces, sometimes used appropriately for years, are suddenly closed off or restricted with little warning and contradictory explanations from staff. Furthermore, staff routinely dismiss students early from lunch (by several minutes) [cite: 77, 82-84][cite_start], reducing valuable free time despite excuses about cleaning that are often not followed through upon, leaving tables a mess. * Facilities Management: The school demonstrates an inability to properly manage and maintain its facilities, as evidenced by visibly broken fixtures in student bathrooms. * Lack of Control and Safety Concerns: The school environment is prone to major security and safety incidents, with evidence that physical disruptions have necessitated immediate and unusual administrative responses, such as early dismissal or cleanup periods.

This school don’t even get a review for such a highly rated school it sucks,I thought it was just me but this school ain’t it from the teacher to principals to assitant principals to the principal himself they don’t know what they are doing. Some of the teachers don’t even know what they are teaching and are constantly crying and bitching about students not passing. One of my teacher marked me present in class when I was out sick and would not allow me to do the work I missed nor stay after school, she was rude and just gave me my midterm grade as my quarter grade. It’s insane some of the things that happen at this school and nobody knows about it cause staff are not willing to admit anything. They need to get themselves together because it’s just wild and other than the staff food poising is insane I’ve gotten sick plenty of times from expired juice to uncooked food to maggots being found in some of the foods. All in all this school ain’t it the staff aren’t any help they’ll refuse to do anything to help the people in this school push professionalism and do all of the above. And for the Auto body shops have found plenty of things in teachers cars that are insane.

Graduated 10 years ago, and I am the only person from my trade who I graduated with that has a job in my original field of study, one of probably <30 overall in my entire graduating class of 300+. Slim chance of long-term success coming straight out of here. Not helped by the fact that attending a trade school significantly hurts your chances of being accepted to a four year college. I’m an example of a very small minority of people who were able to pick a career as a high school freshman and stick with it. This path worked for me for that reason, but did not for the vast majority of my peers. Perhaps if the standards were higher, and a false bill of goods wasn’t sold by the schools administration (i.e. unsubstantiated/completely made up metrics of student success), outcomes would be better.

@ Bistro dinner if you would like a good place to eat and support the students and school you should come and eat here. the students are learning and the prices are affordable for everyone. Fantastic Reuben and my coworkers plates looked so good.... We will be coming back for lunch. "Great job Students, Keep up the good work" There only open for lunch untill 12:30 in the afternoon.

This is the best school to go cause I graduated from Worcester tech high school and I miss all my favorite teachers and they were the best and they thought me everything that I need to know and it was very helpful to the teachers that teaches you everything 🙂

I visited this school in the morning . The security was not friendly. I thought maybe we are the visitor. But he is rude to the students too. I don’t know who like to send the kids to study here?
