Update: As of the Spring 2023 semester, all classes at BCCAT Language School are conducted fully in-person. The information in my original review regarding online or Zoom classes is no longer applicable. I received this updated information directly from the school's management. Initial feedback: I attended BCCAT language school and had a mixed experience. Most of the learning was done online, with in-person classes only on Fridays. My main reason for attending was to improve my conversational English skills and to meet new people. I achieved some of my goals, but not to the extent that I had hoped. Unfortunately, most of the other students seemed to be there only because of visa requirements and were not interested in learning or practicing English. During class, we were often divided into Zoom breakout rooms to discuss topics or practice new grammar constructs, but more than half of the students would turn off their cameras and microphones and not participate. This was very demotivating for me and made me consider quitting the program. Despite the attitude of some of the students, I was very happy with the teachers and staff at BCCAT. They were all friendly and willing to help. The teachers were genuinely interested in helping me learn and improve my language skills. I especially want to express my appreciation for Jose Bustamante, whose motivational approach really helped me to advance my knowledge. Overall, I would recommend BCCAT language school to anyone who is serious about learning English. While the online learning experience could be better, the dedication of the teachers and staff make it worth the effort. If you are looking for a language school that is focused on helping you improve your skills and meet new people, BCCAT is a great choice.

BCCAT is my second home! I am starting my second year here and I couldnt be more happier! My English has improved immensely! I am more than happy to be in this environment! From the ladies in the front desk to each of our teachers, all of them are friendly and ready to help! Maurice & Jose are really good teachers! Each with different techniques but following your improvement constantly! Not only you will learn English but you will also meet new people from different cultures which make it more interesting!
