I love this place. I start one of their many programs soon. The staff are very helpful, patient and kind. The campus is so pristine, clean and new. Oh my God, you can eat off the floor. I highly , recommend this UTI. You get what you pay for. It's worth every penny. A special thank to Linda Chavez, Shavon, Nancy, Donna Li and the whole LB UTI team. Also they love Veterans.

This school never does their job done, on top of having a frustrated attitude telling students that they’re the problem when it’s really not. They love to blame students for their own mistakes. They shouldn’t be working in a place they can’t finish their job. Horrible place with such horrible attitudes. Rosa Arroyo was one of the women that also is very impatient and acted frustrated towards me when I had questions about financial aid. She then decided to give me so much attitude, kept rolling her eyes, and treating me like I am dumb. She is very immature and makes this school look bad. She is not the only person there who can’t do their job right.

For anyone looking to get into the transportation industry, whether it is your first job or you're looking for a career change, there is no better option for learning the fundamentals. Take it a step further and go for an advanced training program to put your career on the fast track to master tech.

This school is a circus filled with clowns teaching the hvac course. A lot of useless lectures and racism jokes. Majority of the time they play youtube for the students to watch which can be done at home. They have one small lab which you hardly go to due to the instructors not having the competence to teach the correct way. Half the equipment and units aren't even working. 24k for this program I heard the hvac program in arizona is way better, but if you are in california I would pay the extra 10k and go to brownson hvac trade school.

Current student, and infractions are some BS. If you have a planned trip, they won't work with you and force you to go on LOA (leave of absence) instead of letting you make up classes, and god forbid you leave early because of work or something, they will rather have you be sleep deprived than leave early. You can pass your classes and labs but they will still fail you over infractions. You only get 3 pairs of shirts for 18 months or however long your course will be, no jacket or hoodie, you want more you have to pay for them, or be lucky and win a raffle or something they do every now and then.Proceed with caution when joining because they care more about making their money than your life and well-being. School definitely needs an audit

1. Since the beginning of the school, I keep getting hassled all forms such as getting pulled from class many times because the school management miscommunicates internally or they just need a signature, something can be done before or after class. 2. I do need a day job to support myself as many other students so I asked to be a permanent evening session night student. And yet this is my third course I have to take at mid session because the school was not able to put me back to evening classes. 3. I was upsold from Auto to Auto/ Diesel because I was told by the admission person, I can change anytime, it was risk free and wouldn't cost me anything. It Turned out it cost $100 to downgrade. 4. I have been very patient with school but this recent issue has been pushing me over the edge, I was told this week that I failed a course back in early May and have to retake it. It has been 2 months and I wasn't notified by anyone, if this is not the school responsibility, why the students don't have access to grade. After many emails with no response I have to come to the Education office to see Joe, quite sometimes run myself around, I was told there 1 scenario in a Diagnosis Exercise I haven't completed in one chapter of the course, even though I passed all tests, attended all labs with 100% attendance. It was very unfair if that one technical problem failed me on the entire course. I am 100 percent sure that I completed everything but it's too far back for me to defend on my own memory. But just I right, when I logged in my IOL to finish up the last session in the IOL, I realized I don't have the badge for Chapter 1, further research I find out nothing in the chapter one completed even tho I completed them just last week, I even took pictures of the glossary on during the course, still on my phone dated July 1st (I attached one picture). That doesn't make any sense except the Blackboard is faulty. 1 of the only 2 restroom now made instructor only. Just a reminder that it costs $1700 each 3-week course to be here.

I’m attending UTI and I want to leave a genuine review. I’ve seen a lot of people saying that they couldn’t find employment after graduation, but I think what people don’t understand is that you aren’t going to get hired if you have terrible grades. If you can’t be professional in school, employers aren’t going to hire you. This school has taken me from 0 experience with actually working on cars, to being able to perform the basics. I’ve only completed 3 courses so far, and I’ve learned so much. As for the social life on campus, that’s where I have some issues. I’m a woman, and as you might expect, there’s about a 10:1 ratio of men to women. I have found friends here though. There’s also a racism/sexism/homophobia issue. I’ve heard racial slurs being said openly in the halls, in one incident it was even directed at a teacher. In one class in particular one of the teachers started talking about how he loved Trump, political beliefs aside, the classroom isn’t a place for that. I know most people in this field don’t really care, but I do wish the environment was a bit more inclusive, at the very least a bit more professional. Despite the issues I stated, my overall experience has been very positive, and I would recommend this school.
