Long Beach City College - Liberal Arts Campus

I m going back to College! I’m excited LBCC has a lot to offer. Staff are nice and students are nice as well they helped me from registration to enrollment. Campus is big and lively.

Went there for a big food giveaway, it was wonderful. There was over 2 miles of cars in line and once they started it went so smooth and quick. I have never been here before but it looked clean and the parking lot was huge! Thank you to all the volunteers and food donors!

It’s as good as a community college can get, they’ve got lots of resources for assistance (emergency aid, free food vault and food assistance, as well as 24/7 security parking for those who live in their car). Lots of opportunity. However I can’t go without talking about the FAFSA department in LAC, every time I’ve gone with a mentee, there is always the same woman in her late 40s or so, at the Fafsa question booth, who has made microagressive racist comments, as if asking for clarification meant they were dumb, and any "accent" she refused to respond and would say "can’t hear you" when there was clear pronunciation’s. Horrible service, every other booth has been patient, kind and attentive, such as the cashier, she’s a very nice woman!

The only bad thing is parking space. I could not find any spots. So I parked in the neighborhood. I've got a $74 ticket. Come on that was suck. Other than that cool school. And good faculty 👍😁

It’s a good college, I like their campus. But they need to Maintain it better, I noticed it’s not cleaned properly. Also their website sucks, it’s very outdated and doesn’t run smoothly. If you go back and forth couple times when registering for classes it’s just glitches so bad and have to open it all over again.

Great time at the long beach performance swap meet & car show🙂 it's a smaller show and swap meet but the entry fee is reasonable and it won't take up all your day, unless you want to hang out in the sun all day long lol 😂

Everyone there is helpful and will direct you as best they can. Even if you don't know where to start or how to fill out an application, they have your back
