I truly had a wonderful experience at MLS Davis Square. James is not only a great teacher but also an incredibly kind and supportive person. He has a great sense of humor, which makes every class enjoyable and relaxed. I always felt comfortable speaking and participating because of the positive atmosphere he creates. What I appreciate most is how respectful and understanding he is of different cultures. As an international student, that meant a lot to me. He genuinely listens, encourages everyone, and makes sure each student feels valued. I’m very grateful for everything I learned here and would highly recommend MLS to anyone looking for a welcoming and inspiring place to study English.

What amazing classes they are! Course content is well-thought-out and it offers many insights. Professor James understands the weakness of each race in terms of English and points out and helps me correct my mistakes. There are teachers and teachers. James is one of the best English teachers I’ve ever met throughout my 20-year journey of English (most are time-consuming and unproductive). He can sensitively notice the mistakes that ESL learners often make and give you immediate feedback. After being stuck at the intermediate level for a long time, I started to regain confidence to improve my English to the next level under guidance from James. The classmates are also diverse and engaging, broadening my horizons in every classes. I sincerely recommend MLS to anyone in Boston who wants to improve their English.

James is a fantastic teacher. In his lessons you will learn without even realizing that you are learning! He keeps track of your personal and individual evolution as a student.
