I have been taking Spanish for the past few months. I am 47 years old and have tried learning Spanish unsuccessfully many times in the past - with Ahsan's method I have noticed a significant improvement already! I am motivated to read short stories between our classes as I do find reading has been an amazing way to build vocabulary as its entertaining at the same time. Although I can understand written Spanish much better than I can speak, I can see how that will come with time. I am already understanding people speaking Spanish much better than I was able to before. Thank you!

I tried several times over my life to learn Spanish, but it never took. At school, via tapes, via various apps. Now that I am working with Ahsan weekly, in three months I've developed a real vocabulary. I can understand the fairly complicated stories we read together, and I'm able to read back some of our earlier lessons with increasing skill and comprehension. This is by far the most I've learned. After four months I will have a vocabulary of roughly 2000 words. Reading builds comprehension, showcases the quick method to change any word with quick endings. When I read back older material to Ahsan, I work on pronunciation, translation and precision. Much better than I ever progressed via the other methods I've tried. At 57, never too old to finally aprende neuvos trucos.

I'm currently in the middle of the intermediate class. It's great! I really like the guided reading method of learning. It feels intuitive and comfortable, and while it's not always easy, our instructor, Ahsan, is always ready with a metaphor about learning that is both encouraging and entertaining. Our class is small, only three people, and questions are frequent and welcome. I'm learning and I really enjoy the class. I definitely recommend it. *I took the sample class before I signed up for a six-week course. If you're unsure, it's a nice way to test the waters before you dive in.

I’m very happy with my Spanish-language experience at the Language Institute of Georgia. Ahsan is brilliant and is a great teacher. I really enjoy the graded reader method, as it allows me to keep encountering the same words in various contexts so that the meaning actually sticks. There’s no pressure to speak when you don’t even have a vocabulary, yet, which is what many language methods push for. Instead, the graded reader method allows you to learn at your own pace and absorb the information. I’m on my third round of classes, and I definitely feel like I’m making progress and understanding a lot quicker. I’m slowly getting comfortable with speaking some sentences. But people don’t realize that there isn’t a method in the world that will get you speaking well right away. It takes time, and you have to build a foundation. I highly recommend the Language Institute of Georgia if you’re looking to begin that foundation and build upon it!

I took the Spanish class with Ahsan and absolutely loved the method of reading graded readers. His approach makes learning Spanish a natural process. I had previously tried online and other classes but they were focused alot on vocabulary and grammar so after years of that I'm still at beginners level. Once I took this class, I immediately saw the difference by reading the laungage in it's original state rather than piece by piece. His method makes it easier to retain. I HIGHLY recommend this class!!!

I believe the Graded Reading Method is a very useful tool to learn a new language, especially if you enjoy reading. Ahsan is a very patient teacher. He is professional and friendly. He quickly evaluates a student’s learning capability and adapts well to it. I appreciate a safe learning environment where you are not self-conscious about making errors. I have no hesitation recommending Ahsan and the Language School to anyone who is interested in learning a new language via the Graded Reading Method.

I've been learning Spanish with the graded reader method at the Language Institute of Georgia for about 6 months now and I love it. The graded reader method actually enhances fluency and re-enforces sentence structure so that you remember it rather than the traditional method of just memorizing vocabulary. Highly recommend giving it a try.
