Got these cat eye GelX nails done by Amy this week! Love so much! Would definitely recommend!

I went here to get a gel pedicure and Gel-X for my hands. My regular salon was booked so I tried this spot. I give this place two stars versus no stars because the pedicure by Ms. Oka was excellent and the management was kind and understanding. However I won’t be going back because of my Gel X service. I got them done last Saturday for an event, less than 30 mins after leaving the salon two nails had already popped off. This should absolutely not happen with Gel X and has not in the seven years I’ve regularly gotten this service. By Monday 8 more nails popped off. I called to complain and the owner had me come in to get them replaced at no additional cost. However by Friday two more nails had popped off again and I went back again to get them fixed (three times in one week!) and today my thumbnail popped off. My Gel X manicures typically last three weeks with no lift (they have never popped off like this). The fact I had to go back three times in one week is unacceptable. They should not advertise this service because they don’t do it correctly. The ladies were kind but stick to the basics here and avoid getting GelX unless you want to waste $90.

The owners and workers at starlight are amazing. They go above and beyond, especially when there’s an issue to be addressed. Plus, they’ve helped me maintain the integrity of my nails which I SO appreciate! I’ve had issues at other salons where when I raise a question while my nails are getting done or even after the fact and they have been disregarded. However, at starlight they listen and always make sure to accommodate what they can. Plus, everyone is so nice and there’s always water and snacks they offer!! I will continue to go back!

I'm thrilled with my experience at Starlight Nails, all thanks to Tina, my amazing nail technician! Previously, I used to opt for Russian manicures because their hard gel ensured my nails stayed flawless for a month. Regular gel always chipped in the first week because I’m rough on my nails and am always washing dishes. My previous dip powder experience was less than ideal, leaving my nails looking thick and wide 🥴. But since discovering Tina and her exceptional dip powder skills, my nails look incredibly natural and last just as long as the Russian manicures, all at a more affordable price and conveniently located. They also offer a very large variety of dip powder colors to choose from as well!

Please please please do yourself a favor and NEVER GO HERE. They can’t properly do nails and will leave your nails in worse condition then when you arrived. I got a gel manicure and I wish I would have just been patient and gone to my usually spot. The polish job was sloppy the woman was painfully scrapping my nails from the beginning I had to ask her to stop being so rough. She cut my skin to the point of it bleeding on multiple nails. And now my fingers literally are in pain from the cuts. Honestly, I should have contested payment and walked out of this horrid establishment. If you love yourself and actually take pride in taking care of your nails, you won’t even think twice about going here.

I am editing my review. This is one of the worst nail salon I've been to. These are my nails only a week later. I will never go back there. I didn't have an appointment but they were able to see me within 10min. I asked for the acrylic nails with gel manicure but either they don't do that or the lady didn't understand me. She kept saying "next time" even though I told her I didn't want just a regular manicure. I don't dislike my nails, she did a good job, but it is not what I wanted and she kind of dismissed me when I told her that. I still tipped. It was my first time there. And most likely my last.

I took my daughter (2.5 years old) for her very first manicure/pedicure and we had an amazing time! We brought a friend and the girls loved sitting together. The staff were very accommodating to my daughter’s age and interests, and they were very patient with her. We can’t wait to go back!
