If you want constant compliments about your hair - go see Julie Weiss at LuxeLab. She truly saved my hair when I came in a few years ago and now it’s the healthiest and happiest it’s ever been. I dye my hair a reddish gingery color and everyone assumes it natural - and that’s all thanks to Julie. She’s seriously the best (and not to mention her head massage is off the freaking charts!!). Highly highly recommend her for any of your hair needs!

Luxelab was a great experience for me. ❤️front desk team was so nice. David cut my hair, did a quick but thoughtful consult, checked comfort levels on length/shape/etc., and then went straight into the cut and style. Whole thing was about an hour. David was a great conversationalist and also explained what he was doing and why whenever I asked. The salon is a teaching salon, so his assistant was learning and she handled the wash. Phenomenal head massage btw, and the shampoo (Oribe? I forgot to ask) smelled incredible. Context: I walked in with a shoulder-length bob and self-cut bangs (picture curly Lord Farquaad) and the only brief I gave him was "cool" plus a few things I didn’t like. He took note, fully went for it, and landed on a 70’s/80’s punk-rock vibe. I left looking and feeling genuinely cool. Sincerely appreciated the whole experience, especially as someone with trust issues around haircuts, and would absolutely go back.

There is truly no one I trust with my hair besides Cheryl. I’ve been with her for over 20 years, and before finding her, I bounced between stylists - some great at cuts, others at color, but no one who could do both exceptionally well. With Cheryl, my hair has grown longer than it ever has been in my entire life, all while staying healthy, strong, and beautiful. Her attention to detail and consistency are unmatched. I cannot recommend Cheryl and LuxeLab highly enough!!!

David Abrams at Luxe Lab is simply the best there is in the business! My 15-year-old daughter was ecstatic after her cut and blow dry yesterday, joyfully telling me how much she loved her new style. This is no surprise; my entire family sees David (my two teenage daughters and my husband), and I've been seeing him for over 20 years. We always know we can show up for a refresh and walk out looking our best. Working with David is integral to maintaining my naturally curly hair, whether I'm wearing it long or short, curly or even those periods when I liked to wear it straight. These days I embrace the curls and he knows how to get the best out of what nature gave me. As a professional photographer working in a very fashion-forward, trendy business, David has helped me age into my profession, looking sharp and styled, and I trust his talent and eye for style implicitly. He's worth every penny. Oh, and for those of us who might need a little help as our hair color shifts, he is also incredible at bringing beauty to your natural color while still feeling authentic. He adds highlights to subtly blend in with grey hair and trick the eye to see blond, not silver. I always feel like my most youthful self after a visit with David!

I discovered Lux lab about nine years ago when I was in LA for work. And I’ve been going ever since! The stylist I was using left and somebody recommended Julie. She is the best! She’s very intuitive and current with the latest style and she gives the most amazing head and neck massage. I tried her for several blowouts, and after some time decided to give her haircut a try. Wow, it was literally the best haircut I’ve ever had!!! Even though I’m not a local, I make sure that I plan my trips around my haircuts. I recently decided to trust Julie with my color and she by far has exceeded my expectations. After years of having the color being not quite right and fading after a few washes, she nailed it!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Give her a try - you’re in for an incredible experience and you will NOT be disappointed.

I am obsessed with Lana! The way she treats my hair is next level. Everyone I get my hair done everyone comments how gorgeous my hair looks. I have like 5 different textures in my hair and she understands textured hair. When I wash my hair after it’s so silky while I wash it. I feel like I found my west side hair guru. I highly recommend Lana for all your hair needs. I’m super excited to get my hair colored by her this month! She is also super sweet and funny so that’s always a huge win.

I feel very fortunate that we have found Luxlab, David in particular. My son is a 10-year-old model, actor and musician, and he is constantly on stage, film, or being photographed. His hair is VERY important. I wouldn’t trust anybody else touching his hair but David. I know an artist when I see one, there’s something different about watching David cut hair. It’s like the difference between a very good, highly respected local musician compared to Slash. Thank you, David.
