My first time getting a perm and Kevin welcomed me with open arms. My hair turned out exactly the way I wanted. Great place. Would recommend 10/10.

Kevin is the best! I love coming over to his salon and being pampered. He has done my hair and makeup several times and I always get great compliments. I recently got a haircut from him and he went above and beyond. He has great style and an amazing work ethic. Overall an amazing experience! It is always a fun time and great conversation with both Kevin and Amanda!

Kevin and the lady at the front were very kind, but ultimately I was not satisfied with the haircut he gave me. I showed him a reference picture of a short wolf cut, but he gave me more of a short Asian auntie haircut. He thinned and cut my sides too much, but I'm sure it'll look better when it grows out. In addition, I scheduled a normal haircut for $70, but they took me to wash my hair and then made me pay $10 extra at the end. He did give me a hair product for free which was very kind, but overall, I did not get the haircut I wanted. I brought this up to him and he said that it was only in my head and it was my mindset, but I did not get what I asked for. Even when I tried to style it, it wasn't close to what I wanted. For an $80 haircut, I left feeling lackluster and not happy. Kevin is talented when it comes to perms and cutting straight hair, but as I have textured hair, I won't be returning here in the future 🙁

haven't written a review in years but really want to put in a good word for Kevin. I feel that he really takes the time to study your hair and he takes a very personalized approach with each client. Not only does he give you his professional recommendation, but he also really listens to what you want and does his best to give you the style that you're looking for. I've had many barbers in the past work on my hair carelessly and haphazardly but Kevin works very meticulously, making sure everything is even and exactly how I want it. I get lots of compliments after he does my hair, so he's become my go-to despite his studio being quite far for me. Booking an appointment is easy and communicating with him over phone or text also very straight forward. I highly, highly recommend him.

I love Kevin! Kevin has been my stylist for the past 12 years, and he knows exactly how to get my hair looking so fresh and so clean. With his experience, he's so good with various hair textures. Even mine! As a Black client, he knows what it takes to wash, condition, style and cut my hair to have it looking so good. Not only that, he's super creative and a down to earth person. I highly recommend him to anybody!

You can tell Kevin is both passionate and a clear expert when it comes to hair, hair styling and hair care. I have fine Caucasian hair and Kevin took the time to hear my concerns about it, offer style solutions for what I wanted, and absolutely followed through. You can tell he does what he does because he genuinely cares about helping you feel your best. His staff, Snow if I remember her name correctly, was also incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell they work well as a team and have been doing so for 11 years. A clear expert with a team that all works well together is a recipe for success, and his knowledge over all kinds of hair is incredible. Highly recommend and have definitely found my forever stylist.

Kevin is a master of his craft. I have been getting my hair done by him for 15 years and I drive from San Diego because I just haven’t found someone as good as him. You can come to him with an idea of what you want done and he’ll give you feedback on how he can better fit the style to your face shape. He’s also just so much fun and such a good hearted person! He’s become an amazing friend over the years so every visit is really a fun catch up!
