Younghye is a great hairstylist, especially for asian hair, and is so sweet and patient. She completely understands what I want for my hair. I have gotten my hair cut at other places before but then come back here to get it trimmed again. I have been coming here for almost 2 years. I have gotten my bangs permed here too and loved it. I also love the atmosphere of the salon! It is very calming and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Younghye, the only hair stylist at the salon is a very nice lady, but I would not recommend going here for haircut/perm. First of all, I had to wait about 30-40 mins past our appointment time, before she finally got to me. After showing her a reference photo of the haircut I wanted, she recommended me to get a perm, and just gave me a haircut that day. I schedule another appointment 2 months later once my hair grew long enough for the perm. The perming process was smooth, but she was frequently distracted by her Korean speaking clients, which wasn't that big of a deal. However, after the whole process, my hair didn't look even remotely similar to the picture I showed her. I initially thought that was normal, and the perm would loosen after a few days. However, it's been a few weeks, and my hair is still way to curly (compared to the reference photo). That's not even the worst part. The worst part is that whatever perm solution she put in my hair smells TERRIBLE. Like a chemical/sulfur smell. The smell is the worst when my hair is wet, and it wont go away no matter how much I wash it. Overall, very disappointing experience, from the haircut/perm itself to the basic professionalism of the service.

She did my japanese hair straightening for 300$ after my first hair wash, i did blow dry n my hair got burnt, she has zero experience in straightening n spoiled all my hair, i have to wait another 1year to regrow please dont consider this place for straightening

I had a terrible experience at this salon. Last time, I arrived before my scheduled appointment, only to find the door locked. I knocked, but no one answered, so I waited in my car. Even when it was time for my appointment, the door was still locked, and no one picked up my call. After I sent a message, I waited another 10+ minutes before getting a response and being let in, with no apology whatsoever. When I walked in, I saw the previous client had just finished their haircut. I have no idea why the stylist locked the door and ignored calls while attending to the previous client. To make matters worse, during my haircut, she answered several phone calls—yet she completely ignored mine earlier. This was such a disappointing experience that I decided it would be my last visit. I will not be returning to this salon again.

I got the Japanese permanent hair straightening here and Younghye did a beautiful job! My hair looks amazing and I will definitely be going back to her when it needs touched up. Younghye was very kind and friendly, the salon was beautiful and immaculately clean, and I am extremely impressed with how good my hair looks! If you need a straightening treatment I’d absolutely recommend this salon!

This was my first experience getting a perm as I’m used to just getting the usual short haircuts from my other barber. I was very nervous going into this but Younghye made the experience so great. She’s so kind and knowledgeable on different hairstyles and gives great cuts! She is only one person running this shop as far as I know but she does a great job. On top of that, her prices are great for the quality of work that she does. I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment. Thank you Younghye!

I can't believe the 4-5 star reviews about this store. You should not expect authentic Korean hair salon skills here like in other salons. I know three people, including myself, who had their hair burned after a perm treatment by Ms. Jeon, the owner of the salon. Please consider going to other salons if you really care about your lovely hair.
