It took no time at all to get my hair done I was in and out appt was at 11:30. They treated me with the utmost respect, kindness and care. After dealing with a stroke bits so great to have great support from Women that not only can get your looks great but have you in great spirits. I recommend this business

Ms. Prudence along with the whole team did an amazing job and was extremely hospitable. Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. By far the best hair stylist in the Bay. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

I had my hair braided into a ponytail by Ruth. My experience was phenomenal. She started on time. The conversation was great. She exceeded my expectations. I loved my experience and I love my hair. I was a last minute appointment and I was called early morning for an appointment. I appreciate my experience. I will be back.

So a stylist did my hair. She is a lovely woman and it’s a warm feeling salon. Feels like the salons back in day. Unfortunately I didn’t like my style but was refunded. The braids weren’t even and my real hair was poking out from Oakland to San Jose. I saw a lot of women leave with good styles I just didn’t like mine.

Never been here before first time it was awful for my first time . I asked for a certain style and didn’t get what I asked for spent $200 for a style that I did not ask for it was nothing like the picture I showed or what she first showed me . I gave them $100 deposit instead of 50 trusting that they will do good work never again will I come here? I am in the process of getting my money back now through the legal system when they could’ve just accommodated me And fix my hair Or gave me half of my money back

Been going to Hair by Tawoda since 1998. Tawoda and all the stylists sure know what they’re doing and keep the time as promised and also the hygiene and service is 2nd to none. Whether it’s natural hair styles you need, cut, color, weave, crotchet, braids, dreadlocks, name it, they got you. All my family members come here. From my husband to my sons and all my friends and customers I refer them here. You will leave feeling like a brand new $100 dollar bill. I love it here. My stylist the last 4 times has been Nana and she killed my style today. I love her so much. I am so happy, I had to share. You should come too.

So glad to have found a shop where prices are set and you get what you pay for. Kind staff, thoughtful and patient; they insure that you get exactly what you ask for and for what you pay for. I got larger braids this time, I’m usually minimicro centric but went for the $400 sizing for synthetics. Happy with my outcome. Thanks Yassa and thanks TJ! Will be retuning again and again. 1 client at a time-I love it!
