Everyone greeted me with a smile and I felt welcomed almost immediately. Christina did a wonderful job with styling and cutting my hair. She gave me one of the best hair cuts I’ve ever gotten in a while, and she’s so nice and easy to talk to! I also got my eyebrows waxed by Jo and I was so impressed with her attention to detail, and she’s also the sweetest! I will definitely be coming back. I felt so amazing and confident coming out of that salon!

Marina has been doing my hair for the last two years! She always does an amazing job on my cut and color. She’ll always be my go to in Denver. Prices are affordable and vibes are great. Love it here!!

Marina is absolutely phenomenal. She listened to my needs throughly, repeated everything back to me and did exactly what I asked for. I’ve been looking for someone like her for years. I’m thankful to have found her. Trust me when I say that I’ve been through a number of stylist over the years. And every time I left I was disappointed. Marina did not disappoint. Thank you.

I have curly hair and have trouble finding stylists that cut my hair properly. Usually, it's left laying triangular, so I'm very choosy about who I let touch my hair. I've been going to Danielle at Salon Joa for some time now, and I always leave happy. 😀 If you have curly hair, I definitely recommend Danielle! UPDATE: I was a faithful client for hair and sometimes nails for years with salon joa. Due to an appointment time mixup, I was running late to a hair color/cut appointment. I thought it was 10:30am they had 10am. Because of this, they called me with an attitude, canceled my appointment, and said that from now on, I'll have to pay half of any service I book up front (including nails). I was paying quite a lot for my services there and had stopped getting my nails done here because A. The artists were always venting about personal and inappropriate topics B. While my nails were amazing, I never spent less than 4 hours there. C. I booked 2 people at a time, and often one of us was left waiting because only one person was available even though we booked to be done simultaneously. They now have only one nail tech. I've not returned since this change. After my appointment mix-up and following treatment, when I'd never been late or no showed a single appointment I stopped going to salon joa. I'm so happy this happened though because for the past year I've been going to a new place that only charges me $25 for my curly cuts. LADIES! If you have curly hair you know how much they upcharge. My new place does the same quality I got here but for literally like a quarter the price! I'm never going back!

I’ve been coming here for years because my experience is consistently great no matter which of the girls I book with — especially Marina. I’m that customer that doesn’t know what I want and when I do I struggle at communicating. She perfectly mixes her knowledge of techniques and her artistry to guide me in creating a vision for my hair if I don’t have one Don’t even get me started on the hair cuts she is the best!! Best bangs I have had in my life. She is the best thing since sliced bread. Reading the other reviews yes- It’s true they are strict on tardiness. Be on time, you’ll be fine 😁

I love going to Salon Joa! I always have an amazing experience there with my stylist, Marina. She’s the best hairstylist I’ve ever had and will never trust anyone else with my hair! ❤️ Highly recommend!

Darci is a miracle worker 👌🏼😍 haven’t trusted anyone to touch my hair in 7 years, and she worked absolute wonders! It’s been about a week since my cut and conditioning treatment and my hair is still so soft and looks amazing. Great conversation too, such a sweetheart! 1000% recommend!
