My daughter is 5 and has extremely thick and curly hair. I have struggled with maintaining her hair since she was born. I wanted to get her a cut and style before her first day of kindergarten this fall. I had been searching all summer trying to find the right stylist for my daughter and her hair texture. I was fortunate enough to be referred to Jacob at Duo Salon. He honestly changed my daughter’s hair 100%. It was the first time that I felt like I saw the light at the end of this crazy hair tunnel journey. My daughter had a blast and enjoyed the process. I was honestly shocked cause she doesn’t enjoy anyone touching her hair. If you are looking for a curl specialist, Jacob is your person! We booked our next appointment before walking out the door. Every part of our experience was excellent. Extremely grateful we found Duo Salon and Jacob!

Jacob is the best for curly haircuts!!! Came to Jacob for my first curly cut and haven’t looked back. I’ve always dyed my hair, but he really highlighted the curls making my hair pop more. Now I also have the perfect cut for my curls to pop/bounce and he also taught me how to style my hair with barely any products. It usually takes so long to get a haircut and style with my curly hair, but Jacob does it so efficiently and leaves it looking better than ever. Love love love, can’t recommend enough!

After doing a bit of researching salons in the area,I chose Duo salon and booked Jacob Satterlee as my curly hair expert. I am So glad I did! My first appointment with him was for a curly cut and consultation about highlights. I had My hair previously highlighted somewhere else and Jacob was very knowledgeable and transparent about how to get the look I wanted while keeping my curls looking healthy. After creating a plan tailored to my hair needs,Jacob worked his magic! I loved the cut/highlights and have since returned to see him. I get Compliments everywhere I go on how amazing my hair looks. I recommend Jacob and this salon to anyone looking for a 10/10 experience.

I came in for a haircut and left with a whole experience. I hadn’t had my hair cut in over a year after a bad experience left me traumatized, but a trusted friend recommended this salon, so I booked with Jacob. From the start, he patiently listened to my concerns and walked me through what he thought would work best for my hair. His guidance and skill resulted in one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years. I love that my hair looks amazing whether I let it air-dry into its natural curls or style it with a blowout. Usually, haircuts take a week or so to "settle," but this one looked fantastic immediately and still does. Best of all, I can actually style it at home and get almost the same great results — something I’ve never been able to do before. I look in the mirror every day with a confidence I haven’t felt in a long time. The cozy robe, complimentary glass of wine, and friendly, welcoming staff made the visit even better. I came to Duo Salon on a total whim one day, and I’m so glad I did — it quickly became my go-to spot for all my hair needs. Jacob is the best! My family and I have been going to him for years — my mom, my sister, and even my best friend all see him now. We love making a little day trip just to get our hair done with him because it’s always worth it. He listens, gives great advice, and somehow always knows exactly what will look good.
