Great bookstore!! Larger than most Barnes and Nobles. My husband loves the huge selection of history and science books. Can spend hours and hours in here! Convenient location!

I frequent bookstores and go to Barnes and Noble regularly. I have never felt as unwelcome as I did tonight. I know they close at 9pm, but I was there at 8:15pm and people didn’t even want to look at me. I had things I wanted to buy, but put them down because I just wanted to leave. It was very uncomfortable.

I love this place, I'm going to keep coming back. It's clean and the employees are nice. I didn't get pictures of the store, I was too immersed in books. Haha Update: I am no longer coming back here. Older cashier discriminated against me, I guess she thought I couldn't afford the membership.

Great location at Willow Lawn area of Richmond, VA. Easy parking and flat, no-step entrance off sidewalk. Clean. Restrooms available, has cafe for quick drink or snack. Plenty of seating. Prices a little high on most items, but they have a small sale section near the front of the store/registers. Gift items are neat and placed throughout the store: journals, pens, bookmarks, collectibles, games, art kits, children's toys. Found a great educational section with decent prices. Good place to find summer workbooks for kids to keep monda working over the break. Saw workbooks from preschool through grade 8. Then, it switched over to SAT prep books.

Very nice place, not just books lot of useful stuff. And staff is very friendly

This Barnes and Noble usually has a good selection of CDs and DVDs. It’s also usually pretty chill and quiet. However today I went in to look for some CDs and I was interrupted by the manager running into the CD/DVD area and yelling at a young woman who obviously had special needs. This man has to be in his 50s and he’s tall and VERY big. Not muscular btw just big. But this woman was like probably 20ish years old and had some sort of disability and this dude was raising his voice and acting aggressive towards her. I waited for the woman to leave to make sure nothing escalated however I had no desire to buy anything after that. I left following the woman and as I was leaving I heard the same dude getting nasty with another customer who asked if they would match prices with other stores and the guy answered him in the rudest way possible for such a simple question. I went back inside the store a few minutes later and asked to speak with the manager and he said "I’m the manager on duty. What can I help you with." And he smirked at me because he knew I was obviously going to tell someone about his behavior. This whole situation made me so uncomfortable and sad for those people. Not coming back here because I wouldn’t want to be the next target of this dudes anger problems.

Nice, big store with excellent selection. (Do they have everything, all the time? No - but they'll order it for you. But so much more selection than, for example, the lovely but small B&N just opened in eastern Glen Allen.)
