I have always had positive experiences at this location. The staff are always friendly and ready to assist when I am looking for a specific book. If they dont have it on hand, they can order it and it arrives VERY quickly from my experience. Healthy selection of Lego sets is a huge plus for me!
Amazing customer service. We were looking for a the new Halo book that was showing in stock, but not where it was supposed to be. We had a staff member go above and beyond, helping us look through all surrounding areas and the back stock to try and find it. When he was unable to find it, he took down our information and told us he'd give us a call when the next shipment came in. He ended up calling us later in the day, explaining that throughout his shift he kept his eye out and found the misplaced book in a completely different section. Not many places have employees that will go above and beyond for something small like this! Shout-out to Barnes and Noble staff at the Fountains!
went on 11/14/2025 towards the end of the day and man the cashier seemed so pissed and annoyed, he was really rude. don’t know his name but he had glasses, black hair, and was average-to-tallish height. when I went to pay, he rolled his eyes, refused to look at me, and had an annoyed tone the entire time. he gave me the nastiest look when i was struggling to pull out my rewards card from my wallet and when he returned it, he slammed it on the register countertop (even my friend heard the sound of it being slammed). then he asked something and when i said yeah, he mockingly went "yeah?" and laughed a little. then it was my friend’s turn and she noticed how rude and pissed he was too. it was a horrible experience overall and made me feel incompetent or something. like to be fair it was as they were closing, but even the announcement that plays at 9:00 says to gather your items and head to the register. if they expect all customers to be out by 9:00, they should have a different type of announcement, maybe one saying that no more transactions can be done past 9:00. i work customer service too and could neeever imagine treating clients this way, no matter how annoyed or fed up i am. it’s rude and i would get in so much trouble. 😭
Great selections and bought too many books as usual.
Great place.... the people in this store are very attentive to the handicap patronage. Good job folks you get a good review from me. You should see the one I left for best buy next door to you.
I go to B&N every friday or Saturday because of the selection of Funko Pops, Star Wars comics/books and I LOVE their HUGE Manga selection, staff is always super sweet and helpful and they always have the big Lego sets that im always searching for!
Love this place but very dangerous for my wallet, just moved back to El Paso and we have a shortage of bookshops, which is kinda sad but at least we have a Barnes and Nobles. But yeah kinda pricey
