Twisted Sugar

We were extremely happy with the cookies from here. They taste homemade and not ultra processed like some other popular cookie places we've tried. I especially likes how the lemon frosting was not the fake lemon flavor and tasted like they use real lemon juice. My husband is celiac and was so happy with how many gluten free options they have and liked all the ones he tried. We will definitely be going back to this place.

We were driving through Montrose on vacation and noticed the twisted sugar shop. So excited to try it before we headed out of town and we got a couple cookies and two drinks and all were fantastic. The drinks were retro rock and tiger Lily and they were really good. We also got a chocolate chip cookie and a peanut butter cookie and both were also yummy. Also the inside of the shop and even the outside sort of reminded us of a old-time soda shop and it was very clean and we met the manager and she was really kind and nice and the restrooms were super clean so highly recommend if you're looking for a little snack and a drink this is a great place to go. There were a ton of options for drinks and the manager was really great about guiding us to just pick our favorite base flavor. So if you like Sprite, get a Sprite based drink and that really helped. We really enjoyed everything and would recommend to others.

We love twisted sugar! So many fun drinks. Amazing cookies. Now they have frozen drinks too. You can’t beat the cookies. Better than Crumbl. The love shack and blush are delicious. I want to try them all! 🐽🐽🐽

We were on our way to Baskin Robbins when this adorable cookie shop caught our eye (best detour of our lives). From the second we walked in, the owners made us feel like long-lost friends—they are seriously the sweetest humans ever. They offered us a dirty soda (which I’ve wanted to try forever!) and let me just say… game. changer. And then came the cookies. Oh. My. Goodness. These weren’t just cookies, they were life-altering, "hide them from the family" kind of cookies. Perfectly chewy, perfectly sweet, and basically baked with pure joy. This place isn’t just a cookie shop, it’s a whole mood—warm, fun, and unforgettable. If you’re reading this wondering if you should go: stop wondering. Go. Immediately. And prepare for your taste buds to send you a thank-you note.

I love the cookies from here! Each one is so thought out, and they all taste like they are made with love! Incredible drink options too. And the service is 15/10! Definitely recommend.

Super yummy! We stopped in on a whim and glad we did. First, the service was awesome. Everyone was so friendly. Had a nice vibe. The cookies were really good. We used to go to Crumble but honestly they haven't been good lately so was happy to try a new place. The cookies we got were delish. Did a cookies and cream and oatmeal cookie butter. Baked well and toppings great. Finally, my partner got the Mandee bee root beer and she really enjoyed it. All in all, if you are looking for a cookie or fun drink, definitely give it a try. PS. My partner says they have the "Sonic" ice for the drinks.

YAY for gluten free cookies! While they're becoming less rare to find, it's still difficult to find a tasty option! But I'd say Twisted Sugar delivered! (It's not perfect but it's one of the better cookies I've had). And the coolest thing, is you can choose from so many flavors - the banana cream and twisted sugar being my two favorites! While the cookie base itself is the same, the different topping flavors are a game changer. They are thick and give me Crumbl vibes but like all gluten free food, it is a little gritty.
