DR Asian Grocery

I just relocated to CT and was disappointed at the Asian stores in the Bridgeport area. I found this place by mistake driving by it one day. They don’t have everything my previous store in MS had. But enough to keep me satiated.

I just got home from DR Asian WOW l love eating Chinese food and or Asian food l been their a few times .if you like to make your own food and like cooking exporting other foods yeah this is the place to go. I found most of what l wanted and if not they get it for you . A very good Asian food store. Guys it's not New York but close enough. You'll like it.

It's a very small Asian store, but they had the rice (pho) noodles we like and they were inexpensive. Sign says Thai and Laos, but had some Vietnamese foods, too. Good selection of shrimp pastes, spring roll sauce, rice spring roll wrappers (3 ladies and My Best brands) and other things, so good for Asian basics.

Mostly Thai groceries, versus Chinese. The proprietor was very pleasant, and prices are better than at the larger market on the corner of Wood and Norman in B'port. It's pretty dingy, but all expiration dates on the food seem like there's decent turnover. Thai tea can be difficult to find in leaf form, but they have it here.

A very small and packed Asian grocery store. The food items are mostly Southeast Asian (Thai, Vietnamese). Very helpful friendly staff who speak English well. I am sorry I have missed them. I used to go to other Asian grocers in Bridgeport that closed so searched Google and found this store west of Clinton. I’d always gone east and missed them.

I went to multiple Asian grocery stores looking for a specific type of ramen my fiancés kids wanted and I couldn’t find it. I tried here and I was happily surprised to find a large box of them for a very good price. The man at the front was kind and helped me find what I was looking for.

They have products you can't get elsewhere. And that can really turn. A mediocre routine dinner into something special 1 or 2 secret ingredients from this Market for instance They have cooked quail eggs. In a can that can turn. Anything from a salad, a bowl of soup, or stuffing a meatball into a masterpiece
