I got to a lot of whole foods across the US and I like this one. The Staff are friendly. The store is huge! It had everything i needed. I had lunch there and there are nice tables to sit down and a water machine- which i like. The only thing is that the bathroom us hard to find. It PAST the Amazon station. Just keep walking past it and they are there around the corner.

A spectacular assortment of bakery goods, pastries, and cakes. The hot buffet is fresh with a variety of offerings for all diets. The salad bar is also very well stocked. Beautiful floral department. I wish they would get more cashiers in this store, but overall a very nice store.

Shopper be cautious! Multiple occurrences where quality has severely declined… for the worst. This location (Sugar Land) has quality control issues. Whole Foods just isn’t the high quality grocery store it once used to be. Mold found in multiple products purchased in-store or via delivery. I have always been an avid Whole Foods shopper and conduct about 60-70% of my grocery shopping here. I am sad to say that I will no longer be shopping here. There is a serious health code violation issue happening at this store. Improperly kept food items or stuff arriving damaged and it is still being put out for purchase. I have noticed the quality declining and I’ve had my last straw. I’ve had multiple reoccurring issues with both deliveries and in-store shopping experiences at this location. Multiple times in delivery time after time I am given clearly visibly moldy produce - either clearly spoiled or close to expiring. Items range from root vegetables to meat & deli, and fruit. In-store shopping isn’t any better. The last few times, I’ve picked up some of their fresh cut fruit and while I always pick the freshest one once I open it up at home I discover white fury mold hiding in a piece of fruit. Clearly workers either don’t care or are willingly putting rotten food into prepared foods and calling it fresh. I had the same issue happen with some grape tomatoes, came home to wash them only to discover mold at the bottom of the container! My last straw was this past weekend. I purchased several cheeses. Parmesan and Cotija were the culprits. I open them up at home and there’s mold! With the parm cheese, I unfortunately didn’t catch the mold until I pour half of the container into a dish I was making. When I discovered it, I realized my dish was ruined. I had to throw it all out! I’ve just had it with all my groceries being ruined by Whole Foods market! See for yourself. I wish I had taken pictures of everything I’ve encountered here. Then again, may be too many to upload in one review.

I went to go get a gift on valentines day but they were out of my favorite chocolates strawberries. The girl at the bakery counter, madilyn, helped me pick out a cake and wrote me a message on it. She did a phenomenal job. I will definitely be coming back

Ongoing Customer Service Concern – January 2, 2026 Sugarland Whole Foods Dear Store Management / Customer Service Team, I am writing to report an ongoing customer service concern that I have experienced at the Sugarland Whole Foods location. I am a regular customer at this store. On multiple occasions, I have noticed behavior from a front-end employee at the self-checkout area (I was told her name is Lou) that makes me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a customer. On my most recent visit, as I was entering the store, I overheard this employee telling another front-end worker that she "always speaks to me" and that she did not understand why I say goodbye when leaving. She then stated that she was going to take her break specifically to avoid interacting with me. This is not the first time I have observed her walking away, leaving her position, or appearing to alter her routine when she sees me entering or leaving the store. To be clear, my interaction has only ever been a simple, polite greeting or "goodbye" as I exit the store. I do not engage her beyond that. I find it concerning that a customer being polite would cause an employee to actively avoid them, especially when this avoidance appears intentional and repeated over time. I understand that employees are entitled to breaks and personal boundaries. However, openly expressing discomfort about a customer in front of others and changing behavior to avoid basic courtesy creates an unprofessional environment and reflects poorly on customer service standards. I am bringing this to your attention because I value Whole Foods and expect a welcoming and respectful experience for all customers. I hope this concern can be addressed appropriately so that future interactions remain professional and comfortable. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Sincerely,

My first time returning a package to Amazon at this store. As I approached the customer service area a thoughtful staff member asked if I needed Amazon returns. She gave clear and kind directions. On the way I noticed how the shelves were full of products and demos beautifully arranged along the way. I found the return line and was pleased how quickly and efficiently things moved. One quick scan of the q-r code on my phone and I was done. I definitely want to return and look around in that Whole Foods Market store.

Whole Foods in Sugarland is Great place to shop and get organic fruits and vegetables. I trust a lot of the ingredients and they're off the shelf food items. They do do a better job of vetting healthy products, when compared to other grocery store chains. The downside, of course, is that the customer ends up paying a premium. There are cheaper places to shop. But for the most part Whole Foods is a good stop to get better quality produce than its competitors, in my opinion
