We came here for lunch, and the buffet bento bar was really nice. It’s like $13 per bento, and customers can pick 3 dishes per box. All the foot items are authentic. We three people almost couldn’t finish 2 bento boxes since it’s really big. The only downside is that the cashiers for the supermarket don’t accept credit card for <$10 purchase.

This supermarket constantly sells spoiled food. Rotten items are common here, not an exception. Their customer service is nonexistent. When I return bad food, they don’t apologize — they just take it, rush me out of the store, and act like I’m bothering their business. One staff member even insulted me, saying I must be poor for returning spoiled food instead of just accepting the loss. Disrespectful, irresponsible, and unacceptable. Avoid this place.

really enjoyed this market. they had a fantastic drink and snack selection, and the fact that they had a cafe and food hot bar was also very convenient. the drinks were tasty and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great selection and prices. Also, the plushies are dangerous. I keep buying them. Two suggestions: - certain foods could be better placed together to make shopping easier because some dishes always require the same ingredients. - add a couple of nice cups to the cafe so people can enjoy espresso or coffee in a nice cup in the store. I think the extra effort to clean the cups is worth it because the longer someone stays here, the more likely they are to buy more. I read some comments that some items are overpriced/expired/moldy. However, like every grocery store, you need to have a keen eye on what is worth it and what is not. Here are my findings: - What is cheaper or market price: soba, tofu, oreos, lays - What is more expensive: fruits and beer - My overall take: they are likely buying a lot of variety and stocking until sells out. Some items that have long shelf life sit on the shelf for too long and become expired. Fruits are priced higher because they know they have to throw it out. While this may be inconvenient, it gives me more variety and I don’t mind inspecting everything I buy.

My experience echoes many of the other reviews here - this middle-aged female Staff who speaks Chinese, working morning shift was very rude and unreasonable!!!!! For two times, She refused entry to my trained service dog and incorrectly insisted that service animal documentation must include a photo. This is not a legal requirement. Despite explaining this, the employee was still rude and dismissive, and refused to let me speak with a manager. When I suggested she look up the official rules online before continuing the conversation, she refused and said she could not read English. Very disappointing experience and clear lack of staff training on service animal regulations.

The hot buffet is quite good. We've tried it twice so far and both times the food was good, service was quick and seating available to enjoy the meal. We've also tried some Asian drinks and packaged desserts from the grocery section and liked everything we got. All in all its no-frills but good value for money.

Echo with other reviewers. This morning I visited this store with my small dog. I was holding my dog in my arms, planning to quickly go in, grab sou milk and leave immediately. There was no one else in the store, and my dog didn’t disturb anyone at all. However, as soon as I walked in, the female staff member who was on duty around 9 AM immediately told me that dogs were not allowed — and surprisingly, she spoke to me in Chinese, assuming I would understand it. I found that strange, but since she used Chinese, I also responded in Chinese, politely explaining that I just wanted to grab a bottle of milk and would leave right away. She then repeated, still in Chinese, that dogs were not allowed, with a very rude attitude. What’s worse, she added something like "This is not China" — which was clearly racist and totally inappropriate. This female employee speaks Chinese, and from her tone and attitude, it was clear she knew exactly what she was saying. I believe this description will help the owner identify which staff member was on shift at that time. I was shocked and deeply offended. This was not about any "country" — I was simply trying to make a quick purchase while holding my tiny dog. Her behavior showed no professionalism, no empathy, and serious racial bias. I left immediately and will never return to this store. I strongly suggest that the owner review this employee’s behavior and take action — no one representing your business should treat customers this way. It reflects extremely poorly on your store.
