New China Cafe

The last time I came here was probably 2017 I used to frequent often and study in the little corner when I went to Merced college traffic flow to this restaurant was always low whenever I went back then and the food was amazing too. I finally took my wife to my favorite Merced Chinese spot and man it’s still bomb! Just as good as I remembered! Everyone’s so nice and the quality and quantity is so hard to beat!! I love this place I wish you guys the best and can’t wait to dine in again!

Today was my first time dining here. Let me tell u the food was so good. The service was quick as well. The food portion was huge. I ate plenty my granddaughter did also, I even had left overs that was still a good amount. The hostess was so nice. She was so accommodating to my 2 year old granddaughter. We are definitely returning.

Great value. I love the lunch specials. I have eaten at this restaurant since before I liked Chinese food as a kid hamburger and frys baby! I am 66 y.o. my family loves it too!

I don't care what anyone says, I love this place. Love their chow fun dishes. Actually, for a decent Chinese plate of food that gives you that comfort feeling. New China Cafe, is it. I've been coming here for years and have not had a bad experience that I can remember.

New China Cafe is that delicious hole in the wall restaurant. We have been going for years. Great people, service, food, & location(downtown). Their honey walnut shrimp is one of my go to items. Delicious!

I always enjoy the food here. Service is fast! You get a cup of soup while you wait for your meal. Price is fair for the amount you get. Wish parking was better.

Earlier today around the late afternoon, my friend and I went to eat lunch because my friend had someone from their work recommend the place to him and we went. The food was great and reminded me of my mother's cooking. Their staffs were welcoming and friendly and are able to chat with them. I would definitely come here again and try other dishes they have.
