818 Heat Hotpot & BBQ

Not a fancy place but you definitely get a good amount of food for what you pay. We did the all you can eat hot pot only but they do offer korean bbq as well. You get to pick however many types of meats you'd like. (Pace yourself). While that's brought out you can head over to the buffet area to grab your spices to add a kick to your hot pot along with vegetables and noodles. They also have dessert when you're done with your meal. The vegetables are in little pots that almost look like little plants at a grocery store. It's kinda cute. The staff constantly came around and it was easy to order more meats as we were eating. They even came around with more broth for the hot pot if you needed. Overall it's a solid deal!

This is a mid place, the food is good but with what I experienced today just made me so upset. Was charged 18% tip automatically on a bill for 4 people and when I asked about it, the lady said it’s automatically applied to on weekend bills. like?!?!? $30 gratuity for a bill of 4 girls, unbelievable. So beware the place is a decent place but beware of what you’re charged for because today I paid $200 for 4 people.

All you can eat hotpot or BBQ or do both. Good and fast service. You can even ask the waiters to make a dipping sauce for you to try if you’re not used to making your own sauce.

I had such a great experience at 818 Heat in Boca Raton! This place combines Korean BBQ and hot pot, which makes it super fun and interactive perfect for a night out with friends or even a casual date night. The vibe is modern, clean, and lively, and the staff was incredibly helpful explaining everything, especially if it’s your first time doing hot pot or table grilling. The meat quality was really good, the broths were flavorful, and the dipping sauces added such a nice touch. I also loved that they had a wide variety of veggies, noodles, and add-ons. Portions are generous, and everything is super fresh. We left full and happy. I definitely recommend 818 Heat if you're in the area and want something different, tasty, and fun to share!

I first visited here about a year ago after finishing my shift. It was very busy, and I was given a buzzer to wait for a table. Since the wait was long, I stayed in my vehicle for about an hour. The buzzer never went off, and I was not told that it had a limited range. When I went back inside, the staff said they were looking for me and then explained that the buzzer doesn’t work if you’re too far from the restaurant. Unfortunately, that information wasn’t communicated beforehand, and I was asked to come back another day. After that experience, I decided to give the restaurant another chance and came back two more times. I was seated and able to dine, and the food looked amazing and tasted very delicious. The waiter was very friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, it’s a good place to eat. With clearer communication about wait times and buzzer limits, this place could easily be a 5-star experience. I’ll come back soon and I see how the service was going!

Me and my husband have been coming here a lot and today we finished out meal and we tipped.As I am getting ready to leave our server came up to me and stated I need to give her a bigger tip because it’s not good for her to not get really good tips. Me and my husband tip appropriately and have never ever had a server do that to us. We will rather make the drive to Gen koren bbq for better service! NEVER COMING BACK!

Excellent service, food is also good but needs to order them. I think it is good to control food waste though. Needs some tv and music in the room. People are friendly.
