Jiang's Hot Pot BBQ

This was very good! My partner and I were in town visiting family, and they brought us here one evening because we love hot pot back home in the DC area. They are buffet style for ingredients, for both the kbbq and hot pot options. It was lovely to see clams, full sized shrimps, and galbi (the latter of which did not have any additional fees, it was included). There is a wide variety of options on the sauce bar, and I had a ton of fun creating my personal sauce. There are several appetizer options too, and the crab rangoon and pork dumplings were standout for us. I also really love the taro milkshake!

Had the best experience here last weekend with my family - Our server AJ was amazing! She explained how everything works very thoroughly and recommended a lot of great choices. The Szechuan broth was the perfect amount of spice and flavor and our favorites were the Korean ribs and Bulgogi! The food, service and atmosphere was great overall. We will be back 🙂

My wife and I stopped in for a date night, and Jiang’s Hot Pot BBQ was an amazing choice! The server was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything to us, since we were first-timers with hot pot. The experience was both fun and delicious! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the quality and quantity of the food definitely exceeded our expectations. For everything you get, the price is more than reasonable. Highly recommend!

I cannot rate this place high enough. My husband and I come here for most of our date nights. It is such a fun experience every time we go. The staff are all so friendly and attentive without being over bearing. We usually get the same server and she always thanks us for coming back. If you’re looking for good food and a fun experience with your family of friends I would definitely recommend coming here.

What an awesome experience! The staff were very friendly. the ingredients were so fresh. I’ve never had hot pot before but it was amazing! The broth got more and more flavorful as we cooked different ingredients in it. My new favorite thing!

The food is great! It’s a unique experience and definitely worth the visit. 29.99 per person is really not bad for what you get. I think it’s the type of place the QC has been needing for a while. it’s unique, it’s vibrant, and the atmosphere is straight from a restaurant you’d find in New York or Los Angeles. There is a time limit but the service is on a whole other level. I went on a Saturday night and i’m guessing since it’s a small business they don’t have many workers. The wait wasn’t bad at all, the service was excellent. My server was a young boy named Eric. He made me a sauce and even though it was busy (even i noticed how many people were waiting in the waiting area and even out to the door) he still found time to explain and make conversation. I’ll definitely be back—not just for the food, but for the incredible hospitality. If he isn’t working at a Michelin-star restaurant someday, I’d be shocked.

The first thing you see when you walk in are multiple handwritten signs warning about up-charges for taking "too much" food. For the price you charge, this already feels unwelcoming. The restaurant itself was dirty—sticky floors, unclean tables, and a restroom that was in terrible condition with ceiling tiles that looked like they could fall at any moment. The entire place needs a serious deep clean. The food was just okay and definitely not worth the price. I also didn’t feel comfortable trying different items because of all the warnings about being charged for wasting food. With a buffet-style concept, customers should be able to sample items freely. Our waitress didn’t explain anything, even after we told her it was our first time. She never offered water, barely checked on us, and didn’t walk us through how the process worked. To make things worse, we ended up feeling sick afterward, which only confirmed how uncomfortable and anxious I already felt while dining there. Do I recommend this place? No. There needs to be major improvement in cleanliness, customer service, and overall experience. The food is okay, but not enough to justify the price or the conditions. I would also suggest allowing customers to sample broths since not liking mine made the meal even less enjoyable.
