Many of my friends recommended this place, and we finally had time to try it. The wait was a bit long since everything is freshly made, but I didn’t mind because it’s located inside the Asian market. I got to do some grocery shopping while waiting for our food. I really appreciated that the owner came by to chat and mentioned that they don’t use any MSG, which is great for the kids. We ordered the beef bulgogi and two sundubu, and everything was absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. The only thing I wish is that the wait time was a little shorter!

Absolutely loved this Korean restaurant! All the food was so yummy—fresh, flavorful, and comforting. The side dishes were amazing and kept coming, each one more delicious than the last. You can really taste the care in every dish. What made the experience even better was the super awesome service. The staff was so kind, friendly, and attentive the entire time. They made us feel welcome and taken care of. Definitely one of the best Korean meals I’ve had. Can’t wait to come back!

The food and the service here was amazing! The staff was happy and super helpful. I’d love to see this turn into a standalone restaurant, but I’ll keep coming here as it is. This is the kind of place I want to support.

Amazing Korean food! So so delicious and fresh. Enjoyed our experience with Spencer. You can taste how fresh and homemade the sauces, banchan and main dishes are. The concept is homemade and everything nailed it. I appreciated the brief explanations of Korean culture while eating, very great experience. Very lovely all around, definitely coming back and recommending! 👍🏽

May sound cliche, but this couple really pours love into their food; it's palpable. They describe it as Korean home cooking. You not only get great food, but also a nice discussion about food and health. They deserve their own little place rather than being embedded in the back of the Asian. market, but I also suspect that their caring style wouldn't scale well if they tried to grow.

This place is an absolute hidden treasure of Korean comfort food, and I'm officially hooked. Their tteokbokki? Honestly, the best I’ve ever had, and I find myself daydreaming about it. We always go for the creamy add on and the combo—rice balls and mandu are the perfect bonus to dip into the creamy sauce. Every dish we've tried has been extraordinary, and it's clear that everything is made with such care, love, and attention to detail. The regular sundoobu with pork or beef (soft tofu stew) is another standout—it’s something I never thought I would love, but I do, and I can never pick a favorite between it and the tteokbokki... so naturally, I order both. My husband loves the Kimchi Jiigae and we've also ordered the Kimchi Jeon, Beef Bulgogi, Pork Bulgogi, Pork Japchae, and Beef Japchae and have enjoyed all of them. What makes the experience feel even more special is the banchan—those little side dishes served with every meal. And just when you think the meal couldn't get better, they bring out a cup of ginger date tea. It's an unexpected treat that is the perfect final touch. Guroott doesn’t just serve amazing food. They create an experience that’s comforting, generous, and full of heart. Everything is bomb. Period.

I'm from South Korea, and let me tell you—this place is insanely good!! Super authentic and ridiculously delicious. The staff were so sweet and thoughtful too. They gave us little candy for our dessert as well☺️ Hands down, the BEST Korean food I’ve had in Utah. No question. I’m definitely coming back all the time!
