Very cool experience. The food looked and tasted fresh. A lot of variety in vegetable and meats. We went for lunch. Definitely got our money’s worth! When they say all-you-can-eat, they mean it! Appetizers, all items on buffet - including seafood and tofu, ramen, fresh slice meat and broth. Plus, ice cream to finish off your meal! I don’t live in Utah, but I will be back!
This is my FAVORITE hot pot in UT. I come here by myself everytime I work in UT and it never disappoints. I am from CA, the land of top tier AYCE hot pot, and this place is definitely up to par. $31 per person is fairly priced given all the options you get. I personally like to order the tonkatsu broth which is a great balance between a subtle and a rich tasting broth. Vegetables were fresh, paired with a solid variety of sauces. I recommend the sesame and miso sauces. The service here is always 5 stars. Waitress recognized me from my visit last year. 🙂 They are super attentive ant both locations and I promise you won’t be disappointed! I will absolutely be back again soon on my next trip. Thank you po! 🤍
First time going to $5 sushi (after 8, first 30 customers) and it’s been raised to $6.77. The sushi was pretty good, but didn’t knock our socks off. The wagyu was the one we were most excited about and it didn’t have any flavor. We also got gyoza which was also missing some flavor. The staff were so fast and helpful. It’s still a steal and we ate most of it and might come back to try their hot pots/shabu shabu.
This place was awesome. I thought they’d be stingy about the amount of meat they serve but I ordered like 10 plates of meat and they didn’t even bat an eye. The waitress was great! Also the food tasted fire
Great experience. The menu has lots of variety for different preferences. I enjoyed the late night sushi deal, that’s why we came! It has increased to $6.77 rather than the $5. Just know that to get that deal you need to go in person at 5 P.M. and then reserve a table for 8. We thought that you had to be the first 30 people showing up at 8 and had to come back a different day since all the reservations were full by then. Way worth it, we would definitely recommend!
Our server was very nice and helpful. I can’t remember his name but he’s from a small town up or near the mountain in Mexico. He explained with patience the difference of the soup since it was my first time. My favorite meat was the oyster blade muscle, it was rich and savory. Their salad bar has a lot of options too from meat to greens. I was amazingly fulfilled that day. Wish I can go back there again but we moved out of state. Will definitely recommend!
Super disappointing, this was most everyones first hotpot experience (minus just me) and we came for a birthday. We arrived early to beat the crowd, which we did as we were one of the few tables in there. Out of the gate, our server was super pushy, insisting we have 2 of everything, I declined repeatedly and finally gave up when he brought us 2 plates of every meat when I had asked for 1 of most. Our appetizers were very cold, like they came out of the fridge, and the edamame was overcooked and under salted. The food on the buffet was fresh for the most part, but the boiled eggs were so overcooked half the yolk was dark green, and I was disappointed that the minced garlic is the kind you get out of a large bottle, pre minced with that nasty chemical taste, but it's a buffet so, yea. The ramen wall was cool, we liked that part. Towards the end of the meal I noticed a part on the menu stating a $5 charge for each leftover plate and that made me wonder if that's why the server brought us so much extra meat, thankfully we weren't charged but definitely that gave me pause. And finally, when the server brought fries and rangoons he stacked them on top of the raw meat rather than wait for me to finish clearing a spot to put them. Cross contamination vibes. For the price we paid it was very disappointing. Definitely won't recommend or return.
