PSA: they have Dak Galbi here now and its pretty good! I guess tbh it could use a bit more chicken compared to vegetables and rice cakes but the sauce and the preparation otherwise is pretty legit. I would probably normally give this 4 stars but I really love Dak Galbi and its usually non-existent or quite disappointing so I was very excited they had it! Service was really friendly too.
One of many Korean restaurants in the Bay Area we had to try on our list. This one had a good list of choices and their dishes were pretty big except the chicken wings which always seem to always take the longest to cook. The garlic wings were good but some pieces so tiny that they should not count towards the fifteen pieces. The seafood pancake was good flavor and good size. I really liked the kimchi fried rice, spicy pork and Premium LA Kalbi. The Steamed Egg had no flavor and it had too much soup in it which I thought was weird. We ordered sodas and their Lychee Cocktail for twenty bucks which was a carafe pitcher size. It was pretty good and strong; nothing fancy. We also ordered Bibimap which was pretty big. Choice this Korean restaurant for mom's bday and was satisfied. The prices were on the expensive side. Not a place for a date as it's loud here but good for groups and drinking. Service is ok. They forgot one of our items but at least, they didn't charge us; we did have a big group though. Haha they even told us politely that we had to go as they had awaiting customers. The place is small, and can get crowded fast so I recommend to come early but lots of parking available.
The food was delicious but hard to choose. It was my first time at this restaurant, and I asked the server for advice, but he wasn't helpful at all. Definitely would go back for the fried rice, and the soup was pretty good, but too much for two people. When it was time to get our bill, the server was very short with us and practically tossed things onto the table. I understand they were busy, but it wasn't our fault.
Went here last night after picking up a friend and running 4 miles. I got the bulgogi rice place because I haven't had bulgogi in a while. Pretty good! Waitress was nice too. I'd come back again
Loved every plate. Wings in sweet and spicy sauce are very good, peanuts in the sauce gives them a nice kick. Vegetarian pancake is very good too. Service is good, they forgot one plate but worked on it pretty quick. A little cold ambience for me.
Went here on a Sunday night. We ordered Bulgogi tacos, seafood pancake, and seafood ramen to share for two. The bulgogi tacos came in three and they were huge; a little bit too much lettuce on top to be honest but they were delicious! Loved the broth for the seafood ramen. Pancake was fluffy and plenty of seafood, didn't even need the sauce that came with it. Came here because my usual spot closed early but I think I will be back here again for those pancakes.
The food and service was spectacular! The lighting could be better during the night but overall, i had a great experience. Started with the bulgogi roll and cheese corn. Both were delicious and fulfilling. Then got the Soo Ja burger with regular fries and it came with their signature sauce that you can basically dip with everything! (Always ask for extra) Lastly, I got the half and half fried chicken with the finger licking sauces, garlic and the sweet and spicy. I high recommend all of these dishes. This is also enough food for about 4 people to share!
