Since moving from Philly to NC, I've been looking for a proper Korean restaurant that matches the food quality, flavor and atmosphere. I'm glad I decided to check this place out on a whim. The staff seated me right away, treated me with dignity and made me feel welcome. This is a great family spot and a nice peaceful respite for grabbing authentic Korean food. The food was FRESH and PLENTIFUL. It was also flavorful. I ordered the galbi at first, but it's not available on Saturday for lunch. So instead I went with the beef bulgogi bowl recommended by the waiter, after I told them I wanted something beefy. I plan to come back and become a regular.
This restaurant has one of the best GALBI i have had in these Korean BBQ restaurants. The Banchon was really good. Sundubu was excellent. If im in Raleigh area again I will drop in for another visit.
Ate on a Friday night, restaurant was about 1/4 full. Ordered beef dolsot bibimbap, and friend got medium spice soondubu (forgot which protein). Banchan (macaroni salad, bean sprouts, kimchi, radish, fish cake, & 1 other dish I didn't try) arrived at the same time as the mains. Unfortunately the bibimbap had no flavor. No salt, no garlic, etc. so had to ask for table salt. The spicy sauce was sweet with a tiny kick (definitely not gochujang or sriracha). The soy sauce (what I was told...?) was also sweet with a vinegar taste so not sure what that sauce actually was. Did not try friend's soondubu but they reported that it tasted a bit bland and watered down. I like that the presentation and ingredients are fairly authentic to Korean food, so maybe tonight is just a once-off poor night for the flavors. Did not get a chance to try kbbq tonight. I plan to return and try other menu items that I had been eyeing
The food here was absolutely amazing! And the service was really great too. Hubby and I have never tried a place like this before and the staff was super friendly and super helpful in explaining everything to us. And the serving size was massive! We ordered the food that was pictured here and the menu said it was a meal for 2 but in reality it could've fed 4 (at least in my opinion it could). And it was SPECTACULAR! If we ever go back to Raleigh we're definitely eating here again!
I recently dined at Seoul Garden, and I had such a great experience that I felt compelled to leave a review. As someone who is Korean, I really appreciate when a restaurant not only serves great food but also creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere — and Seoul Garden absolutely delivered. From the moment we walked in, the host was incredibly kind and welcoming. They greeted us with a smile and made us feel comfortable right away. Throughout the entire meal, all of the servers were very attentive and professional. They consistently checked in on us, made sure everything was fresh and refilled, and were quick to respond whenever we needed anything. I especially want to mention Gene and Martin. They both went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Their attentiveness and positive energy really stood out and made the experience even better. You can tell they genuinely care about providing good service, and it shows. Overall, the service was excellent from start to finish. It’s always meaningful to see a Korean restaurant run with such care and hospitality. I highly recommend Seoul Garden — I’ll definitely be coming back. — Yu Jin Ho
Found a whole peice of napkin in my take out. Not even sure how this can happen... called the restaurant and they said they'd talk to the manager about it give me a call back but never did.
Had Jae Yuk Bokkeum tonight 10/30/2026. The online menu price is $15.99. The QR code menu price is $21.00. And my bill for the dish was $23 and an extra bowl of rice was $3 (I think the menu says $2). I dont know which price is correct. I dont want to go to a place where the price is confusing 😕
