Tonight, my husband and I decided to explore a new restaurant, though we didn’t have a reservation. Upon our arrival, we were informed there was a one-hour wait due to this, but it was clear that those with reservations were seated promptly. Jerry, the gentleman at the front, was incredibly informative and made our wait more enjoyable by checking in on us. Once we were seated, our server, Colton, greeted us right away and explained the ordering process, offering some great recommendations. As someone with a gluten allergy, I was pleased to find numerous options available for me. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, making for a delightful dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you want to skip the wait, be sure to make a reservation!
So Hot Hotpot & BBQ (Raleigh) did NOT disappoint 🔥 The food was amazing, and shoutout to Ms. Nabi, the best server ever! Her service made the whole experience even better. If you haven’t been yet, go check them out. We had the diamond menu.
Absolutely amazing experience! The service was so friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is beautiful — modern, clean, and such a fun vibe throughout the restaurant. I especially loved their Diamond Menu — so many great options to choose from! Every dish came out with stunning presentation and the taste was even better than it looked. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and overall delicious! Highly recommend So Hot Raleigh — can’t wait to come back again! 😍🔥🍲
Will definitely be back! Cool vibe and atmosphere. We got the hotpot, half spicy half not and Korean bbq. Everything was super delicious it was about $48 per person. Our waitress was wonderful! you order everything on a iPad and it’s all you can eat. We ordered a little bit of everything since it was our 1st time and nothing disappointed. Milk buns and the brown sugar rice cakes were AMAZING. And you get a free diy s’more at the end!
12/31/2025 My Wife and I had an incredible experience. Complete turn key from making the reservation online through Google Maps link to reminders up to the point of our entrance to the restaurant. Greeted by Larry very humble and professional. Kept all informed how and when our table would be ready. Our reservation was right on time. Then we were greeted by Gigi our Waitress. Totally awesome as well as Lisa would come by and cook for us as well. Both of them made the experience very pleasurable and unforgettable. The aroma from walking from the parking lot into the restaurant was incredible. And the offerings were great. And honestly if we did not know about a certain offering, Gigi and or Lisa was there to explain and guide us. I can go on and on about this place, but I will say try them you will not be disappointed. Great ambiance, clean, fun, inviting and great service!
Casual vibes with neon signs and amazing smell of hot pot and Korean bbq in the air. Get there earlier to avoid a wait, there are not many tables in the restaurant. They have plenty of pricing options for either only hot pot or only the bbq, and two price ranges for enjoying both. All of the choices are AYCE (all you can eat). I do like that both grills and hot pot are full size vs the individual sizes some other places use. Compared to its other location (where it’s hot pot only), this is a newer restaurant so everything is new. The Cary location does have much more room and space, but all broths and meats are the same give or take a few Korean bbq side items. Service was fine, it did take a while for the hot pot to come out so we sat there with just the meat for it for a while haha but that’s minor. And the broth temp needed adjusting which took a while, but all in all it was a good experience. Would definitely recommend if looking for some variety vs just having hot pot. Will be going back!
First time at SoHot and we’re officially hooked! Michelle was our server and she absolutely crushed it—super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience smooth and fun. She walked us through everything, gave awesome recommendations, and made us feel totally at ease. The food? Phenomenal. So many flavors and options—it’s like a choose-your-own-adventure for your taste buds. The BBQ Bulgogi beef was melt-in-your-mouth amazing, and the Cajun pot had just the right kick. Dumplings were a sleeper hit—pro tip: let them float! Can’t wait to come back and try even more. Thanks Michelle and SoHot team for a delicious night out!
